Commiserations on losing a truly gifted manager. This must be a very sad time for you.
I'm hearing news that Steve Kean has just agreed a five year deal with Villa.
I'm only joking, you can now celebrate that a year of his boring negative torture is over!
VILLA ARE A JOKE FOR SACKING HIM.
disgrace
amazed he wasn't gotten rid of mid-season.
it was obvious to everyone back then that he was going to take the club nowhere. too defensive. too gloomy.
villa should go for a more attack minded gaffer now. which would be just about anyone with a pulse !!!!!
Judging from some comments coming out of Villa Park before Xmas, there's was enough concern there to consider sacking him. But then Villa performances perked up (for a brief period) which was probably enough for the board to hold off until the end of the year. Which was a good idea, but didn't evisage us getting sucked into the relegation battle.
Don't see what Faulkner's got to do with it. He handles the business side of things.
