mate there is an article with a hundred plus comments on it further down. i don't think we all need to go through it again.
Carragher got called a and all sorts when he ''retired'' so is Carrick one aswell?
carrickature
Fair enough didn't see that one. Don't worry about this then
no worries mate. wasn't being rude. it's just as with the other article it will just turn in to a wum fest. united fans know the worth of carrick and that's the main thing. it truly is Englands loss.
I know, that's cool. Yes you're right, probably best not to continue it eh?! Least Carrick and Rio will be fresh for next season (and Rooney too, he'll probably only play 1 game!)
I'm afraid you can't try and apply logic to anything Hodgson said. His press conference was riddled with inconsistencies and muddled thinking. You only need to look at his rationale for not taking Rio (only a few England games since 2010), and then at the same time taking Gerrard (34 mins for England in 19 months and an injury ravaged season) as a guaranteed starter by making him capt on top.
Also the line where he said he didn't pick Rio, for footballing reasons. You mean he took Carroll and Downing for footballing reasons?! Some manager he is!
my you're quick with old news. you'll be telling us dalglish has been sacked next.
