Sounds good how come he never played for Madrid, who kept him out of the team?

kaka and alonso
He was injured for most of this season.
He came back from injury in January. But Madrid were flying. All their team were playing so well. Alonso, Khedira, Diarra, Kaka, Granero, Callejon, Ozil etc.....
He'll be a fool to stay there. He will hardly ever play.
£20m for Sahin and Kagawa would be incredible!
Think he was just really unlucky with injuries at Madrid, and when he was fit it was probably far too big a risk for Mourinho to put him in the team at such an important period.
Personally.....I'd rather get Sahin than a spoiler like Asamoah.
Sahin plays really deep just like Carrick, however he has good pace and can dribble the ball. He'd be the perfect foil alongside Carrick. And it wouldn't be too shabby having Scholesy and Cleverley to call on either to play 15-20 games in there.
Would probably mean the end for Ando and Fletch though.
is he a bit injury prone then, is that tempting fate with our midfield?

not really. just last season
I've been hoping we express an interest in Sahin for a long time, as I think a midfield two of Strootman and Sahin would be great additions, but when was the last time SAF went for any clubs reject? I literally can't remember one other than the strange Owen signing, and even then it was after he'd been at Newcastle from Madrid and his contract had run out.
Ain't Strootman off to Milan?
Pea, you still think Kagawa can't create through the middle?
okay guys, sahin would be a terrific signing. As someone said earlier is playing style is very much like alonso as he can orchestrate from deep
but i would rather have sahin+kagawa @ 20 million over hazard @35 million
off to YouTube to watch his videos.
Value for money, Kagawa 10 million and Sahin 10 million.
If that isn't value for money then no player on earth is.
But we won't even bid for Sahin I reckon. I've never heard of us being linked with him.
^^^^^
so true.
Won't stop me dreaming it might happen though, at least until when the transfer window closes.
Would be nice to watch him come to utd resume his rivalry with arsenal's podolski
sorry to burst the bubble, but we have seen this situation before. Huntelaar, sneijder, robben, VDV. Even when we had an 80 million deal going the other way and in need of talented players, fergie purposefully ignored the options available.
Sahin left for there knowing what kind of situation he was getting into, battling for playing time and being a bench player. Regardless of the attraction of real, abandoning the chance to play regularly usually sends a message. I think we will pass like we have passed on the rest who have decided to go for the madrid galactico dream and failed.
I personally feel kagawa deal is in the bag and we would have in him a player with the ability to create through the middle, especially in games that are open/ end to end.
I feel what we need most is a central midfielder the can control the middle of the pitch either with passing or with physical presence and or tackling.
Sahin falls into the first category, he is a pass master like scholes, alonso and fabregas. He would be an amazing signing.
