Bit harsh. And remember, it's a starting 11 not 2.
The rest of our sorry lot didn't help.
i do think some people blame bates at the first opportunity, sometimes justly, but i dont see how bates would help players like Connolly, Becchio or Bessone improve when they're playing
I appreciate that Batty, but the others have not been so vocal in the press recently, plus Snoddy is the quietest Captain since, er, Howson on the pitch, but very outspoken elsewhere.
I am not saying that only these two are solely to blame, but they are the ones who seem to be blaming everything but themselves.
Maybe Grayson's mentality has brainwashed them more than we think.
Algrave
How much did you see these players last three months or you just guessing
And I haven't seen either player complain about not getting picked for Scotland
Firstly Reading are a better team than us.
Secondly, Snodgrass has been carrying a back injury.
Thirdly, hard for two players to carry a team when the rest of the side is sh yte.
yes lets all put all the blame on the players that just happen to be on trial for crimes against bates this week, lets just forget that their contribution teetered off because they had no support because the rest of the team weren't up to their standards.

I think you make your point well there.

Less helium son, it can't be good for you.
Dave Jones is a fan of McCormack
dave jones sold McCormack to us
Snoddy and Ross were about the only one making any effort as far as I could see last part of the season, there were times when Snod's just seemed to give up but that was the result of the rubbish in the rest of the park.
If he goes it will be a sign that we will not compete next season, wouldn't suprise me if League 1 beckons

That's very professional of the clubs captain.
Why then in the previous 15 games did he score 9 times yet was playing with the same sh yte team as we had for the last part of the season.
The same sh yte team also won 7 and drew 2 in that same period. Maybe Grayson was better than we thought.
algarve the lad is only human
He is a highly paid professional footballer, if he was a 17 year old amateur then I would agree, but he is not, and If that's the apathy that certain fans accept from our captain, and who also think he deserves even more money for a new contract, then it proves one thing, he is more interested in money than the club he plays for.
Algave
Your talking utter rubbish
Snoddy always give his best, always
What games have you see. Where he never true his best ???
And he wants more money because he's a lot better than when he got his last contract and deserve a better contract
I couldn't be bothered reading the previous 15 messages so forgive me if it's been said.
Snodgrass wasn't called up because he's working on strengthening his troublesome back and he's said that he doesn't want to make a decision for the next 2 weeks as he wants to relax first and he wants to see who we bring in.
McCormack has had 2 good seasons in his career. Blew hot and cold this season, good spells followed by bad spells. E.g. from start of the season till the 3-0 win at Donny, then he didn't score for ages.
i agree with algarve in the fact that i thought neither played very well at the end of last season but maybe the contract situation was putting them off their game
