Basically we will be playing champions of poor leagues rather than the runners up of the top leagues like last time
Whoever it is, we have to beat them
That is all.
Don't understand the first bit, do we play either the belgains or romanians, and then on to play shamrock rovers etc?
na basically there will be 19 possible teams we could face in the 3rd round
2 which are already placed in 3rd round (like us), cluj and anderlecht
the 17 other teams we could face in the 3rd round are the winners from the 2nd round (Basel etc)
the other 17 winners
ignore that random bit at the end of my post

A few decent teams there. If we steer clear of Anderlecht and Basel and maybe BATE, we should on paper have a chance.
Could be a qualifier versus Helsingborg
If they bring Henrik out of retirement, we're fecked.
Love this concept of the "poorer leagues" our league is dier and the results of last season quantfies this! Best of luck though! Hope the refs are fair
There's some top quality sides in the lesser pots in next season's Champions League.
You've got Man City in pot two, Juve in pot three, Borussia Dortmund in pot four...all current domestic champions
The champions of the top four leagues in Europe could be drawn together......would be the ultimate group of death surely
Would love to see ManC in the same group a Barca, Juve and Dortmund.
Borussia Dortmund are pot four!
Well, at least we can't draw them.
But this group is theoretically possible:
Barcelona
Man City
Juventus
Borussia Dortmund.
BhoyJd, we can't draw Basel if they make it through to the 3rd round.
They will also be in newly created Champions section of the draw, and will be seeded as well as us.
This "Champions" section of the draw is very good for a league like the SPL, kudos to UEFA!
