No. His time has passed.

He's only 31, he's got a few years in him.

posted on 31/5/12

he still has that amazing first touch though

10 years too late

I would be delighted to have him playing for UTD... genius of a player.

posted on 31/5/12

he would be a great back up

I think we should sign him and then resign Roy Keane and Djemba Djemba, lol.

roy keane will only be required to break suarez's legs

He wouldn't do no harm playing against newly promoted teams, and the bottom half of the league. I tell you what, he's quite skillful for a player who's in his 30s. Giggs and Scholes are player, so why can't he? I'm sure Fergie will work out a tactic which suit both the team and him.

he would fit well in a 4 3 3 or 4 5 1

He won't, because he won't sign him.

he could to replace berba and owen as back up

We dont need Ronaldinho as we have Anderson, who was dubbed the "next Ronaldinho." LOL

Funnily enough I was thinking about this before. Sure he's lost some of his pace from his Barca/PSG days but he's such a fantastic technical player, few players are better with the ball at their feet.
He'd definitely be worth a punt, I'd love to see us get him for a year or so, similar to the loan deal for Larsson a few years ago.

his wages were around 45 to 50 thousand a week

He would sell loads of shirts as well I would love him at United

posted on 31/5/12

Are united as big in South America as they are in the USA?

Only 31? Seem's like he's been around for donkeys. That goal against Seaman was pure madness to even try and contemplate!

Answer to OPs question, if Giggs is still playing for us nearing 4's, then i can't see why Ronaldinho who's starting into his 30's couldn't do a much better job.

Ronaldihno's party lifestyle caught up with him a while ago, so can't see it happening, but in terms of age, SAF signed Teddy Sheringham at 31 as our 4th striker didnt he, and the Brazilian's about the same age (32?). We are presumably looking for a 10 that doesnt break the bank as well to cover Rooney, but that's going to be Kagawa surely.

Also weren't there comments that SAF showed a little interest in Raul before he went to Shalke? Not sure how much interest, probably more admiration, but he's not adverse to pulling off these sort of left field deals. Larsson is another example. I just can't see it in this case though for the reason I opened with and the fact Kagawa looks nailed on.

To be honest, it wouldn't be out of the question given what happened with Owen.

Ronaldinho was quality.

id have him at the club.
ridiculously skilful bloke.

good shot, good passing etc! better than berbatov!

Ronaldinho is an incredible player.

But if we are not playing berba because he doesnt fit our fast paced playing style then I doubt we will buy Ronaldinho.

I can City going in for him. He could even end up back at PSG.
