Roland Garros Day 6

The year Delpo won the USO he was outplayed by Cilic the first set. Both men were playing their usual game but Cillic was hitting to fast to handle for Delpo. Traditionally Cillic level dropped but i really thought there was potentially not much between them. Things work out differently....
Cillic hits a FH like the cracking of a whip. He just can't keep the timing right for long.

"He just can't keep the timing right for long. "
I think he can, he did knock Murray out of USO tow years ago, I think. H
The problem with Cilic is his defence is far behind his attacking game.

It's funny when I go on holidays I can easily break off from posting but as soon as I am back at my bloody desk I quickly become an addict again.

Don't worry about it, your effort is much appreciated.

Berdy has broken Anderson. Mr Anderson.

I mean he took out Mr. invincible Djokovic without even having to show up on court. . Now how can I underestimate someone with such abilities.

Indeed.
I think Nole would annihilate the ground Fog steps on should he dare to show his face THIS year

Gilles Simon(FRA)[11] vs. Stanislas Wawrinka(SUI)[18]

This looks like match of the day for me.

Simon played the most ugly tennis to win that day. He bored Baker into submission with those endless backhand-2- backhand shots.

That's going to be such a slog, I hope they finish with some daylight let for Nole match.

Mr. Anderson takes set-2. Is he the one?

are you trying to say you can hear the gallop of a dark horse gathering pace ?

dark horse to win RG? No. But to case an upset. perhaps. But Berdy nowadays is much mentally tougher to see off such matches.

Not watching it, but stats indicate a good match going on. Time to hunt some on livescore hunter.

I watched a few minutes of the second set, it was soo slow and boring.

I invite everybody to see the SP Berdych lost in that 3rd set.

A shocker of a choker!

Wouldn't be a huge surprise if Berdych lost. Obviously berdych was the favourite but Anderson has produced some good resutls from time to time. Seems to be an eratic player who plays like he's ranked 10 one week and 200 the next.

Come on Anderson. This will make fed's draw bit easy.

Oh, good point. Forgot about that. I think Federer is a better clay player than Berdych though. I think he would see him off if he had too, assuming 90%+ fit.

Actually, I'd finding Berdych-Anderson a bit tedious at the moment, maybe it needs the TB for something interesting to happen.

I see Granollers beat Jaziri 7-5 in the 5th in a match started yesterday. So against Matthieu tomorrow that'll be a battle of who's the least tired!

Berdych breaks to lead 5-4. Didn't see that coming, it had been easy holds for a while before that.
