Just what is wrong at and with our club?

I've been ignoring it to be honest. You could call me a poor fan, but then worrying about a football club to the point of affecting my mental health just isn't worth it.

The majority of sane people are coming round to the belief that something is amiss.

To me, Kean thinking of hiring Hendry's reaks of one skirt wearing, horrible drunk looking to employ another...

What is wrong is that KEAN runs the show and that is becoming more apparent by the day.

Oh and didn't Kean get rid of Diouf because he thought his behaviour wasn't right for the club?

So why get a failed Scottish/gambling/drunken/bankrupt ex manager who was sacked by ESPN because of his behaviour and proved to be a conman on board?

HOW CAN THIS EVEN BE CONTEMPLATED?

I think this may be the best approach. We can only watch and marvel at the continued stupidity and uncertainty.

Most in football take a well earned break at this time, often 3-4 weeks at least. But that is only possible if it is well earned. With so much to sort and organise at our club, it is imperative we do not waste any time and make progress all summer in readiness of the new season starting.

We were badly undercooked at the start of last season and need to hit the ground running this time round.

I don't even think that season tickets are on sale!!

Strange old goings on at Ewood these days, but the sun is shining and the sky is blue today so hey ho, have a good bank holiday weekend one and all.

You tell me !Nothing makes any sense any more.I know Colin Hendry has had a rough time and I would not wish that on any person .I just feel dissapointed that he could not have waited till something changes at Ewood. To support Comical Ali is beyond belief and I am not sure about love for his former club.Just before we went down last time all our best players did not know how fast they could leave Ewood in Shearers slipstream to Newcastle.

I'm doing my best to take DD's approach. I sincerely believe Venkys are incapable of change and the club is destined for a grisly end with them in charge. Its become very apparent that nobody at Rovers these days could give a rat's a.ss what any of the fans think and its debatable how many of them actually want us to do well as opposed to just serving their own ends. So to me supporting the current Rovers has become like supporting the weather. No influence, no connection, no point.

All ya can do I suppose is support the idea of what Rovers used to be and wait it out.

Blue and White I think every decent Rovers fan feels the pain,we cant do a toss about it and thats so vexing!Protests and boos ,letters to the paper phone in forums nothing hel;ps,im not looking forward to next season.

posted on 2/6/12

Protests and booing are not working the only way to get change is for no one to go to Ewood if we only sell about 5000 tickets that will force change don't spend any money at Ewood give Venky's nothing

That's my view too - don't give Venky's anything. However, you'll never get agreement from all the fans. The "true" fans define themselves as those who watch Rovers whatever the circumstances - or the consequences.

It is very nice to get the new fixtures and know that your life is life laid out for the next nine months. But perhaps some of us need a life beyond football.

+++++++++++
But we in very trying times with Rovers if Venky's are still here in 2 years time there could no Rovers to watch .The time to act is now Venky's must leave why buy a football club and never watch us

Colin Hendry i believe is a good appointment at least he as an associaton with the club and probably the best defender have seen at rovers

Being a good player is one thing but being a football coach is another i hope it works but it looks more like Kean trying to bribe the fans it's just painting over the cracks it will not work

Colin Hendry a good appointment! Why?
He has been a failure in football since he hung up his boots.
The only association he has with Rovers now is with Kean not the club hence why he was saying on 5 live before the Chelsea game what a good man Kean was who had the backing of 80% of the supporters.

It's coming to something when people are happy with appointments just because they once played for the club.

Sad indeed Damien!I just cant understand any person stooping so low.

Can't believe your gaffer is still at the club.

He ought to have left at the end of LAST season. Never mind this one.

Some people obviously have no shame.

It gets stranger by the day ,Kean nowAgnew and who knows what they will think of next!I think I will pledge a grand or maybe a couple to buy our club back.I am sick and tired of the nonsense and gobbleygook that is churned out daily at Ewood.I just want to go to Ewood Park watch MY ROVERS and go home happy or feeling robbed, but this load of shenanigans for the last season and a half is stomach churning.I WANT MY OLD CLUB BACK IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?
