No, good riddance, he was cr4p
11 years is a long time at one club, but not so much a loyalty indicator as the fact that nobody else wanted him...despite the many clubs he went on loan too.
Maybe he should look for a new career, painting and decorating perhaps ?
Sometimes you just have to accept you are not good enough...
Of course he deserves a testimonial match! Eleven years of loyal service should be recognised. He may have not been the best player, but he gave 100%.
yes never got credit he was due either
Hey, Sowerby Bridge Terrier, do you know where Nathan Clarke lives......
I say give him a decent send off, he's worked hard for it over the years..(are you NC ?)
He definitely deserves a testimonial.
He will need to pay for Town's away matches when his brother plays.
Shame on you lot!!!
Very grateful for his efforts and don't think he was given the chances he deserved but testimonial? No
Football isn't the same as it was, Nathan has made plenty of money and doesn't need me to give him anymore. If it were a charity thing i don't see the point.
Btw see we are interested in bringing Peltier back, i would love that, i would love it!
peltier? no thanks boothy. if hes not good enough for a leicester team pushing for promotion then what makes him good enough for us?
Following on wi transfer talk.... Strong rumour from someone that is usually 95% right, snodgrass set to sign....

in fact my neightbour is mate with snodgrass so ill try find out
Snodgrass! Doubt it, think we need to lower our expectations.
Peltier would be a quality signing for me, i love Jack Hunt but we are going to be facing some quality wingers and we might need a proper defender.
boothy, peltier can definitely defend and read the game better than hunt but im not sure if hunts attacking threat is something you can leave out in the championship where proper football is played. hunt might just really flourish if we caqn bring in a quality midfield that play the ball to him to run onto rather than playing backwards .
What i'm struggling to remember abour Peltier was how effective he was at left back as you always need cover. That would be the key for me about signing him. If Woods, Peltier and Hunts were covering the 2 positions i'd be happy with that.
You're right though Tez a midfielder should be our big summer signing, someone along the lines of Jimmy Bullard, all action, getting on the ball and wanting to score.
Peltier's strength was that he could play anywhere in the defence, seem to remember him covering at LB quite a few times last season. He also played CM at times, most rememberable at the Emerates..
I'm sure he had a few games as centre forward in the time he was with us. Definatley did in the pre season friendly 2 years ago at Bury....
Jimmy Bullard would be a great player in any team, but he asks for the highest wages around, which I seem to remember him refusing to play for Hull last year because of some dispute....
Anyway what about this testimonial thingy?
testimonial thing?
i liked peltier in the midfield/sweeper role
