any chance of a multiboard admins ?
Swearing is a sure sign of a limited vocabulary, ban swearing and how will they converse with one and other.
im not doing very well with my multiboard requests
Complain about your own article and ask for it
Also I hate how we're becoming such a Nanny state. Banning swearing is a little pathetic.
If you don't f'ing complain about it, how do we know to f'ing multiboard it.
My step dad was a big Southend UTD fan, and i went to a game with him at Roots Hall: one of the opposing players (cant remember who it was) was clearly on and didnt get the pass so he complained to his team mate "for fecks sake, i was fecking in there" to which my step dad let his feelings on swearing be known "mind your language, theres no need for it, there are kids here!" ten minutes later when the ref didnt give a not-so-clear foul he was making himself known again "fecks sake ref you fecking get your fecking glasses on"
persoanlly i dont see the problem with swearing at a football match, its meant to be a working class game for working class men
<sighsmiley>
I quite enjoy watching Sunday League so i know what new words to add to the filter.
It's a competitive game, people are going to swear.
What next? Rules requiring players to wear Dinner Jackets when they're playing.

im not advocating making swearing illegal. i would not regard that as a positive development at all, and would agree that that would be an imposition upon civil liberties.
that's totally different though to trying to stop adults in a public place shouting out swear words in every sentence when there's a load of kids watching. if you started shouting swear words during a rugby match you'd get sent off. if the same happened in football, maybe players' behaviour and respect for referees would improve generally, and maybe children wouldnt grow up thinking it's impressive if you can swear every time you open your mouth.
i watched my nephews u12 cricket team recently and all we could hear was obscentiites coming from the football match on the adjacent playing area. it was disgusting to be honest with you.
The trouble is that being at the top of the swearing leaderboard will become a badge of honour like ASBO's!
My god. Really? Targeting swearing now? Next everyone will have to make sure their shirts are tucked in and we call the ref sir
This ain't rugby. And even rugby has foul language in. Even cricket does from time to time
Another great british institution to be consigned to the knackers yard by the linen suited liberals.
This site "doesn't" have it swearing cause the Beeb606 didn't and most other football forum sites do. So we are positioned differently. The guys/gals that use the site from work appreciate it. But in most competitive sports I think it would be impossible to remove.

chronic, in the game im talking about, it was almost as if it was a competition to see who could use the loudest and foulest bad language. it was pathetic tbh.

foul and abusive language has always quite rightly been a yellow or,sometimes a red card
Swearing activates a bit of the brain that alleviates pain. If I got kicked in the Jubilees it would for sure be
Hahaha I swear so much when I play.
I've never swore in my life
