Why is Slasiva Jokanovic not on there!
Why isn't Maradona one of the five
Yeah Cristiano Ronaldo should be there ahead of Ronaldinho at least.
I'd go (with C.Ronaldo)
Messi
C.Ronaldo
Pele
Most people think Maradona & C.Ronaldo are so that was one of the reasons I didn't put them in.

Messis good, but he is no Pele. Messi is on the right path to emulate Pele but at the moment is a level below him
All the players on top form, then it's easily Ronaldinhio.
Career wise, probably between Zidane and Messi (if he wins a major international tournament)
Can only go on players in my lifetime.
It's a tough call. Zidane has to be up there. Primadona has to be up there and so does Jimmy Ronaldo.
I've a funny feeling by the time he's finished, Messi will be the man though.
Oh dear no maradonna! Oh dear no cryuff and oh dear no Best! 3 of the all time greats, not on this list!
Messi
Maradona
Spearing
Pele
Agree with the list, those would be my top 5 of all time,
1. Ronaldinhio
2. Ronaldo
3. Zidane
4. Pele
5. Messi
If based on top form only:
Ronaldinho
Ronaldo 9
Zidane
Messi
These are from what I've seen.
But if you're going for the greatest of all time:
Messi
Zidane
Ronaldo 9
Ronaldinho
CR7
I haven't seen Maradona or Pele play, but from watching their videos they seem to be alot better than CR7, but his achievements are only 2nd to Messi in modern football and thats incredible.
1. Maradonna
2. Pele
3. Cruyff
4. Der Kaiser
5. Zidane
Messi might join them and replace Zidane but he's still not won an international trophy.
Even now you're missing out true greats like Garrincha, Eusebio etc.
Pele scored against the n3zis with the best scissors kick of all time (and he used his foot as intended and not some flukey shin shot).
Shame it ended 4-4.
It must be him
Ronaldo on top form is unstoppable. I didn't see any of the greats pre-Zidane so can't speak about how good they were
1. Pele
2. Messi
3. Cruyff
4. Zidane
5. Beckenbaur
Just missed the cut : Gavin McCann.
People can't not have Maradonna. It's just madness.
He might not be the most likeable person and I appreciate English people in particular have a beef with him but fack me people, he was incredible. Simply unbelievable.
If you're going to leave him out then the article should be changed to "your favourite players" rather than "the best players".
Greatest player of all time:
Maradona just edges it over Zidane for me.
Most exciting player to watch:
Ronaldinho followed by Rivaldo.
Most skillful player of all time:
Messi. But I find him boring to watch.
where is maradona? greatest of all time
disgraceful like him or not
To be fair we'd need voters who've seen all of those players in their prime. So only Sandy, and Admin1.
I agree with SalfordRed. Messi is good but does not merit a place on the list yet.
Obvious omissions are:
Ferenc Puskas, Gerd Muller and there is a certain Sir Robert Charlton who wasn't too shabby.
