ah here Darren this is deluded even by your standards!

Stephen ward would surely start. He's played in a major tournament and istherefore automatically class. That's how it works, isn't it?

I see the fool who has never been in N.I has written yet another article about N.I lol..................

The filter button is the best thing JA606 has done, I wouldn't associate with bigots in real life and I don't have to here lol..................

I'd have the following: Doyle(when on form); McGeady; Keane; McCarthy(though hes not in ROI side) Gibson(possibly); McClean(possibly); Dunne(slower now, but useful as back up)

Sorry! Just read your question again. "WALK INTO the NI full team". Only McGeady, possibly Keane and Doyle(when on form). Thats it! We need front men.

As I said O'Shea is still a top class player and would link up well with Evans.....................

Apart from that the rest can go and jump lol...............

Ah Shen come on take off the NI blinkers. And we are talking about all ROI players, not just traps mates like Whelan etc

Well CIPPY since you had the nous to identify the quality of Croatia and since you must be sweating on your favourites Espana(uninspiring so far),I've tried again really hard and Im afraid this is all I can come up with, remember we're talking about "WALKING into the FIRST team": McGeady; Keane(if on form); Doyle(if on form); Gibson(new improved version). I have never watched McCarthy, so cant comment. However, he sounds like the sort of player we need, industrious, combative midfielder who is also creative with a bit of guile. Oh, and if you're including Stevie Ireland, well of course he would walk into either Ireland team! Sorry, thats the best I can do right now.

Would have included Duff, but he seems to have fallen away quite badly recently. Got simply manhandled off the ball alot in the Euros. Pity, I always liked him.

Duff is 33, way past it. The only NI player I would take would be Evans, Brunt and Davis for the bench.

Like I said before, it would be great to have a match between the two Irelands, full strenght teams only, to help resolve some of these issues objectively.

By the way, Davis played injured against the ROI. How would you do if you found yourself playing in a reserve team against a full strength rival determined to beat you? Midfield is an unforgiving land!

I would say if McGivern can get away from City next season he is way better than that guy Ward at left back for the Mexicans. Have a bad feeling we have seen the last of Baird in a NI shirt

How was it a full strength team? we have our fourth choice right back Kevin Foley playing CM and Simon Cox our fourth choice striker making his debut. We had McShane, Delaney, Keogh, Treacy playing and Ward was making his debut. We were just as understrength as you lot.
