"Jonty is not MCH"
must be his twin then...
No, he is not. You have to read his comments carefully. Mch sounded like. Juvenille most of the time.
And MCH is a rafa fan whereas Jonty likes Nole.
Mch sounded like. Juvenille most of the time.

Yes....definetely his twin!
no, same with more self-control under the latest name.
Anyway, it has to come from his mouth, not yours.
Ah! A sensible Rafa fan!
Just one point of clarification: We don;t blame him for working hard. He says himself he doesn;t work hard. He says he doesn;t go to the gym....when the average player spends 30h a week in the gym. Weird isn;t it?
----------------------------------------
First off, i dont think any sane Rafa fan will say Fed or to a lesser extent Djokovic is more talented than Rafa..and you say he dosent work hard cos he dosent go to the gym? maybe he sees it as a waste of time? he probably spends more hours on practise courts that lots of other players...
Look how Djoko go him last year, winning all the 7 meetings with even going five sets (Grand slams) and three sets (masters) but look this season, he has prob tried hard to figure him out and he could have well have won Aussie Open January (that 'easy' forehand he missed is still annoying me..lol) and has won the 3 clay courts meetings, granted clay is his best surface but he did beat him twice on it last year.
Fed hasnt found a way to beat Nadal, especially in grand slam tournaments, when Nadal was first beating on just clay he wasnt worried about it and didnt think he will be a threat he his now, and look at the head to head record.. (which being the only thing that is against him from being the GOAT) im not saying Fed dosent work hard (of course he does) but if he had anticipited Nadal's threat early enough, the head to head record might be different today.
I think you're paranoid nitb, I've been Jonty on 606 and I'm Jonty on here.
But hey, you seem to think there are conspiracies in tennis with draws being rigged etc so if it floats your boat to think I'm someone else, be my guest
Check his profile. He supports Nole like you.
I suppose you believe everything they tell you in the papers and TV, be my guest, too and sleep with a clear conscience
i dont think any sane Rafa fan ...
------------------------------
Honestly, this is a rare occurence.
======================
he probably spends more hours on practise courts that lots of other players...
----------------------------
Well if he does, he really is not very talented at all. Cause frankly, his shots are worse than most players out there. He only makes up by the power of his shots. And I am honest saying that.
=======================
Fed hasnt found a way to beat Nadal,
-------------------------------------
You don;t find a "way" to beat Nadal. You find lungs....unless you play him on faster grass (1st week) or indoors.
The H2H is just so cause Fed learnt his tennis on fast surfaces. Nadal on clay....and most encounters were on clay.....and on much slower conds that Fed grew up on.
That's why the H2H is so. Nadal woudl have not won a single slam outside RG in the 90s. As proven again yesterday, he is too 1D.
13809, I think a lot of fed fans hate the fact that Nadal has the measure of Federer.
I'm a Federer fan and I hated it, but have come to appreciate the effort Nadal has put in to improve his game and to work out strategies to beat his big rivals.
I find it incredibly childish some of the lack of appreciation of players on here, I mean we all have our favourites, and we all like to see our non favourite players under pressure or an underdog winning, but the sheer level of hatred of rival players here is astonishing.
nitb, I tend to not think everyone is lying, works for me.
There is no hatred. These are on court demeanours of Nadal which results in stark division of opinions.
This dialogue is going nowhere Jonty, TMF seems to think you are a Djokovic fan, I look forward to you writing an article about him, since you haven't done it yet.
TMF, there is a difference between not liking the Nadal time taking and loosening his shorts (I don't like those things for example) and the hatred seen on here (not mentioning any names), sorry, I can't see another word for it.
You know, I would love for an umpire to pull him up for the time he takes to take a serve but he's not the anti-christ.
Another interesting topic to talk about :

Feel free to apologise when you're ready nitb....
Tenez....
Fair enough if thats what you think, to be fair, i expected that reply from you so not surprised.. However, keep in mind Fed has also won to titles on slow courts so while i agree that the slowing down of the courts wasnt ideal for him, i disagree that that has been the main reason why he hasnt won more slams, or beating Nadal (im sure he beat Nadal 2006 and 2007 wimbledon finals)
Jonty
Well said, at least you see what i see even thoough you are not a fan...
13809, it feels like being in a class of kids at times.
I love tennis, I don't understand why people like Tenez watch tennis when all they do is complain about balls, strings, request, surfaces, tactics, draw rigging blah blah blah.
Why do they watch and comment on it if they have nothing positive to say and hate the sport so much?
so while i agree that the slowing down of the courts wasnt ideal for him, i disagree that that has been the main reason why he hasnt won more slams, or beating Nadal
------------------------------
Isn;t that a clear contradiction? Has Nadal won 6 Wimbledon and only 1 FO?

---------------------------------
I dont even think taking time between points should warrant such abuse, since its within the rules... Djokovic also takes time between points, infact was it last year when Fed had to speak out about him taking so much time between points (think it was french open, i cant remember exactly now) but he dosent get abuse here probably cos he beats Nadal..lol...
nitb, respect, happy to draw a line under it
