i hope not.
i hope he's gone.
u don't say the things he said and get away with it, not for me.
Arsenal > RvP. If he wants to rip into the club, he's gone, whether its because he wants to leave, or cos he just wants a bigger contract
It's wound us all up at the moment but if he has a blinding season, wins a trophy and finishes his career at the club all will be forgotten and this will be known as a speech of passion which turned the club around. Football as a game has a painfully short memory and I'd rather be wound up at RvP for 1/2 seasons than lose him for good.
I would very very disappointed if this happened. RVP is not the manager, who we sign is none of his business.
Afellay is decent, nothing more.
Affelay is no better than rosicky, we shouldn't give power to RVP and let him decide how the club should be ran he is only one player.
He's burned his bridges with me already. As far as I'm concerned, he's a goner. That's all there is to it.
So Wenger and Arsenal have to bow down to RVP...
RVP
We should not be taking demands from anyone.
Especially an injury prone who has given 1-2 years worth of service
Based on Euros form, Affelay is much better than Rosicky!
RVP does not decide who the club sign, he is a player, that's it..... if we did as the OP is suggesting I would be ashamed of the club.
Time to sell him on.
United fans forgave Rooney, and his motives were much more obviously about money than RVP's.
I'm sure you'd all get over it.
Not that I believe there's even a small chance it'll happen.
Affellay is crap! But if signing him makes RVP stay...
We are overrating Afellay a tad. Has lost a lot of pace and his passing is good , not great. Does'nt strike me as a natural goalscorer either
