If you read history, Totties never had two consecutive successful managers in their history. I suggest you to lay down few quids on AVB to get sacked before the end of the season.

We don't need big players to finish in top 10 if you remember the season 2005/06, where we reached the finals of a FA cup and top 10 finish after coming from Championship.

AVB is a good manager, too many people look at his stint with Chelsea and think he's a flop. A manager that broke records at a young age and won his first treble at 32 has to be a bit special tbh. However, these predictions should be done when the window closes. So if Spurs lose Modric and don't replace him then I think it's debateable if they finish top 5 or not.

It's a beggars belief that Modric will be a Spurs' player in this season. Where do you think Desperate Dan will fund his sackings and hiring?

They won't sign anyone like Arsenal. Sigudsson is Modric's replacement.

What kind of evidence would you like? Their defence was made to look bad because of AVB's tactical naivety for the majority of last season, once he was gone, they were immense defensively, especially in the Champions League. Ivanovic, Terry, Luiz, Cahill, Cashley etc are quality defenders.

You are allowed to have an opinion my friend, I also allowed to express mine.

Luiz, Terry and Cahill are not quality defenders. Ivanovic and Cashley are pretty good, Cashley arguably the only world class player in the English team.

Chelsea did well in the champs league because they parked the bus, everyone behind the ball. Barca really should have taken them to the cleaners, Bayern had chances too as well.
