No need to slate CH to be honest, he did a terrific job for us under very hard circumstances and left in a decent and honest way.

I wish Chris Hughton all the best, he did a sterling job with plenty of happy memories to boot. He left in a dignified manner, just a shame we didn't have the energy and bit of luck you need for the final push but thats life, Clarks are manager now and a very promising one at that. Viva la Blues.
I hope your not referring to me as i didnt bad mouth CH, but when he left the reaction was as you would react at the death of family member and Clark's job is to make us think he's better than CH, if we can perform like we did first half last night then we could walk the division though that wont happen!
To be honest i dont care if CH finishes top or bottom at norwich just like i dont care how my ex gf's are getting on in there love lifes! its all about now!

CH turned round what looked like a sinking ship (with the help of a couple of good signings by AM before his defection).
The Euro nights were great, home and away, but these too, were a consequence of AM guiding us to the Carling Cup win.
Facts are facts, I'm afraid, and CH is the only Blues manager this century to fail to get us promoted or take us to a cup final.
I said a few times last season that it was all mcleish's signings who were our best players. Davies, Murphy, Fahey, Burke, King all the stars all signed by him....BUT
CH got the spirit back into the club and lifted a dark cloud both on and off the pitch, we didnt play fantastic football but it was a massive MASSIVE improvement on anything we had seen under bruce or mcleish but as you say all history will say is that we didnt get promoted no and the type of football played wont be brought up.
Lee Clark is saying the right things and has signed some good players, no one seems to be mentioning the owners any more and we have played some good football in the friendlies. I have to admit when clark was mentioned as a potential manager i wasnt keen because of what huddersfield fans had said, he sounded like another mcleish draw type manager, but as soon as he was appointed he has my support!

Why is the silly dingle back again? We had a sensible one earlier with Steve Bull who spoke sense and his writing was legible. Now we have this one back, never thought I would say this but bring back Steve Bull!
Back to point, great result at Bury, as stated in other pre season posts the results are not important but scoring 5 goals is always good.
I will never slag off CH, played lovely football and was a really nice guy.
It is now time to move on, he wanted to go to Norwich and we have to get over that. We have to give Clark a chance and I hope he dose well as that means we do well. Will tough again this year but I will be there at every home game and as many as away games as my wallet allow enjoying the ride.
Just one last point for the silly dingle, I have never seen the front cover of gay mag but obviously you have....
