How much money have they got, not enough i would say
Its not just that, can' t see the reason why Hoyle would sell to a rivalg
i think reading/fulham had confirmed bids..
we had a confirmed bid for peltier but that didnt come off..
with the confusion at blackburn kean might not even know what was bid and for who???
they didnt sack him for the simple reason that the fans loathe him more than they loathe the owners..this is not a club that will be a pretty sight by x mas..
if jordans dad is part of the discussion group on this one i suspect he would advise jordan to stay as far away from blackburn as is humanly possible..
Blackburn are making a lot of noise on this one, but Hoyle is strangely quiet
Town have reported they haven't received any bids that match our valuation, whatever that is...£6m, £7m £8m ???
Even if a bid did arrive which met Towns' valuation, it is then up to Rhodes to decide if he wants to go to that club, and as yet he hasn't spoken to anyone..
we could announce that we have bid for modric/rooney etc..we dont have to say we offered £500 and tony kay????
blackburn making noise after another weekend to be proud of...
rovers owners will be fully aware of the kind of figure dean wants to consider selling jordan..
they bid way under to throw up a smokescreen of being ambitious whilst knowing full well they wont get the player..they wont say how much they bid and they know dean wont spill the beans..
it appears to be bollox...
i made a bid on e bay for a 1968 jaguar mk2... no one knows how much i bidded, but i didnt win.. that makes me look like a "player" in the classic cars game...
the bid was only £1300!!!!!
Just think on this time last year Blackburn were signing Ronaldinio and Beckham whilst saying they were ggoing for the top 6
Funny thing is they didn't come close to any of those predictions.
My prediction is Blackburn into admin by January

Don't believe everything you read, Blackburn fans were attacked on both nights.
As for Rhodes you're right we have probably bid about £3.30 upfront with a further £0.20 should we gain relegation to league 1.
damian..
i dont believe the "riots" cr-p from the dutch..
they have violence at lots of games every week...they dont report it like we do on the much fewer occasions we have it here now..
the "riot" bit was added because english football fans were involved.. they will pretend it only happened because of that..
they dont go abroad and do it, so they hide the domestic problems they have with it very well..
its just not helpfull for rovers at this time..
I agree and the rovers officials know full well what happened, but they aren't coming out and defending our fans. On the contrary they are happy for us to be labelled as "hooligans"
It just gives Kean and his cronies more ammunition for the media to call our fans as out of order because we want them out.
Our club is rotten to the core and every Rovers fan knows it.
Damo fookin ell i didnt realise things were so bad? You and your fellow fans seem like broken men. Is it that bad at ewood??
Tez if i went through everything that has gone on since the cowboys and Indians came to town we would be here all day!
Our fans love the club and believe me no one wants to protest, but the fans have been labelled as racist/Violent/Hooligans when it is nothing of the sort.
Our club is going down the pan and the general feeling is that things aren't exactly above board and blaming the fans is just a smokescreen.
Things are worse than you could possibly imagine Tez.
The whole Rhodes situation is a strange one. Obviously the guy scores goals for fun but in no way is he worth £8 million. I'm not having a go or anything he is your player and you are entitled to ask whatever price you want for him. We've done the same in the past selling players for way more than they are actually worth. Santa Cruz sold for circa £18 million.
I can't for the life of me see why he would want to come to Rovers at this time even if we had an offer accepted. The whole place is toxic at the moment and I for one will be surprised to see us in the top half next season.
However, I said the same before Murphy and Best joined so maybe the money on offer is too good to turn down. I've also heard rumours that our offer to him would include a release clause if we failed to get promoted so he might feel as though he has nothing to lose.
a release clause isnt great after a possibly very poor season..
if rhodes couldnt score a few for rovers in a season where they ended up in the 3rd division, then his options would be very much reduced at the end of it..
he does not need a release clause with us, he is getting a much improved contract and if he carries on scoring at anywhere near the rate he did last season, someone will stump up the money to buy him.. everyone has their price, dean knows this...we all know this...
murphy was a great signing for a championship club, best???
no idea why they have bought a long past it ex portugal player.. very strange combination of new players brought in..
makes you realise how lucky we are with Dean Hoyle owning the club. Plus when the shares get sorted (as they will) the whole stadium complex should be secured against foreign predators who come into English football, asset strip and beggar off.
Life after Hoyle ? we'll worry about that later...but I'm sure what he leaves behind will be a lasting legacy, although I suppose Jack Walker thought that..
Funny that all 5 portugeezers that we have brought to the club have the same agent (So iv'e been told)
Agents must love our club plenty of money to be made and shared around.
parachute payment???
maybe some of it should be hidden away for a rainy day??
We really dont expect to get up this season but I do expect a full contingency plan to be ready for use should it actually happen.. being relegated from the premier league isnt the worst thing that can happen, but having a season being spanked regularly ending in relegation might have long lasting affects...
The fact that Kean has gone public with this offer is yet another display of all that is wrong at Rovers at the moment and an example of the kind of man he is.
Under John Willliams Rovers were regarded as one of the most professional and well respected clubs in the land. There is no way that a live transfer target would be discussed in the media let alone name dropped into a press conference.
If I was Dean Hoyle then I would refuse to do business with the shower in charge at Rovers out of principle!
Report in local paper says Town are taking a 'dim view' of Blackburn going public on their bid, reminding them that Rhodes is under contract at Town until 2015.
Reckon that will scupper the deal, if there was ever going to be one...
Well Kean and his cronies don't do professional/respect that is obvious, that is why the lying, drink driving cretin will soon be in court trying to convince a jury that it wasn't really him who was slagging off the manager that he stabbed in the back to get his job!
back fired by the looks of it..their own supporters dont believe they made anything like a serious offer.. its become counter productive and less than professional.. in truth, from owners that didnt know you could be relegated its probably about right..
they must have taken advice over the portugese players but from whom???
murphy , if you can afford the wages, is a no brainer..
although it looks like he has chosen a club where he does not have to move house etc and will be a big fish etc etc.. probably aligned with coaching badges etc..
We were supposed to be chasing Silva from Portugal all summer who is widely regarded as being worth about 3 million.
Kean went to Portugal and bid £750 grand for him regardless to say we got turned down. It was just an excuse for a jolly on a freebie.
Beckham/Ronaldinhio we've seen it all before, this lot don't care they see any publicity regardless that it's bad as being good if that makes sense.
Kean spouts anything he's deluded. Last season he stated Champions League, then top 6 then top 10 to we WON'T be relegated.
He really is a prize plonker even blaming the fans for spiking his drink when he got done for drink driving even though he admitted sharing a bottle of wine with Alex Furguson and was then seen later on in a few bars in the Ribble Valley supping Budweisers, even the judge branded him a liar.
Oh and i forgot about the "We will win the Carling cup" comment to the "We forfeited the Carling cup game" After losing to Cardiff.
