I find it very hard to fit the music to the mood, there is nothing worse than to sort right through and find nothing suitable...

... but then I find just the right thing...

Morning

Why not IOAG? You could be able to get on throughout work and I'll remind you about some deadlines?

I'll also help promote Spanish Football and this La Liga Thread?

As predicted, Barca and Real struggled with their 'tough on paper' matches.

Worried about Atleti yet, Madristas?

posted on 29/10/12

I'm not, I'm over the moon about the increased competition, just hope they can keep up their challenge.

LRF, thanks mate, but I really can't be bothered.

What a noble, yet transparent thing to say, IOAG. You're bricking it

Just wish the first Madrid derby was sooner as i can see Atleti falling away in the coming weeks

If the past decade's anything to go by, the later the derby, the better for Atleti.

Kent

All will be well in the end.

IOAG - There's a quite an annoying gap where there are no big games in the next few weeks if i remember correctly. Did you arrange this?

Every game is a big one dot

A fine attitude, Kent

You never really know which games are going to end up being decisive for the title.

posted on 29/10/12

Kent, all in all it wasn't a bad result. At least you broke a 4 or 5 game losing streak and Celta's 100% home record.

IOAG - Is it true that the majority of fans at Mallorca games are '2nd team' supporters? In that a lot of them either support Barca or Real but also follow Mallorca?

Can't remember who told me this.

posted on 29/10/12

No idea, but I'm pretty sure Majorcans follow Barça more than they do Madrid because of the closer linguistic and cultural links.

Some people just support their own team and despise both of the big two, but they're a minority. Most do choose sides between the two and many end up supporting them as their 2nd team. If their own club isn't in the top flight, you'll see them cheer on either Madrid or Barça.

Thanks, Uncle Al.

Much like Celtic and Rangers here then. You'll get people from Paisley who will go to St Mirren matches, but they'll consider Rangers/Celtic to be their main team.

What is the feeling in Spain in regards to Spanish players in the PL? Are people glad that the likes of Mata, Silva, Cazorla etc are shining or are they angry that they have been stolen from Franco's grasp?

IOAG - I shall read that in due course

Upset at the fact that La Liga hasn't been able to hold onto them, but happy they're doing well.

There are so many over there right now that it's nigh on impossible to keep track of all of them.

It's the same feeling over here about the masses of talented British players in Spain. We're just happy to see them all doing so well.

Cádiz had got a Scottish player last season.

Had, not got.

Dizzying times for Scottish football

Bilbao need to get their árses in gear or it could turn into one almighty fall from grace

Will Llorente definitely leave in January, and if so are Juventus still prime candidates?

I like bombarding you with questions.

What's happening at Bilbao is strange. I hope they shake out of this rut, but it's not looking good. I've no idea what's going to happen with Llorente. Still a sub, but Bielsa's giving him more and more minutes, so wouldn't be surprised to see him starting soon.

He's too handsome to keep on the bench. Not enough swooning.
