My wife is an alien. Does that count?
you should be proud they are English Devon,
its a step up in anyones book.
My girlfriend is a man utd fan
I support Arsenal, my father is a Man Utd fan, 3 brothers are Spurs, 2 are West Ham.
My father is also Irish, whereas I am English, so a lot of banter, around 1988 and 1990 especially.
Also, as my father is Irish and has a soft spot for Celtic I thought they were the families Scottish team. However, when my mother asked me who I was supporting on an Old Firm derby day and I said Celtic she went mad. She told me I was a English Protestant and have to support Rangers. The most surprising thing about her outburst is that she is neither religious nor cares about football. Crazy woman.
Dev,
thats all that really counts at the end of the day bud.
to say you are English is indeed the pinacle of civilization.it will stand your wife and children in good sted.the best start in life they could possibly have.
P.S
dont listen to D"jeez,
hes especially bitter today,if thats at all possible?
The Lord D'Jeezus
The moral of the story is : Always listen to your mother
But all my family are united in two things football related.
Dartford FC are great, and Woking are a bunch of cheating stnuc whose fans all deserve to suffer immense pain.

I like your Mum.Sounds like a lovely woman, with wise words.

My Mum-in-law is Celtic, and a wee bit bitter with it,and we often clash.
My wife does not care, but likes to wind me up at times,as I go daft watching us play Celtic.

The boys I have known for years,Rangers daft and mad prod's here, have all ended up marrying Catholic girls.
Two of the diehards are with girls from Dublin, and one girl has become a bear, living up here, and the other votes unionist now.
I started this craze in 2001,when I married,and the rest follow,followed.
