I just don't see why Chelsea fans care so much about what Liverpool are doing.

Maybe the term 'plastics' can be used to describe the Chelsea 'fans' on this board.

rather be plastic than talk about the 18/5 at every given opportunity

Why are you so fixated about Liverpool F.C?

Every second comment you make concerns Liverpool, why is that?

Liverpool are wasting money left right and centre, I cant see how these players are going to improve an already average squad.

Henderson - £20m, young and looked out of his depth in the U21`s, worth £6m max

Downing - £20m, average premiership performer at best, Young is twice as good and Bale is 3 times better.

Adam - £7m, another average player, looked good in a very poor team, bigger fish in a tiny pond, expect him to flop at Liverpool.

Thats Comolli for you lol

But however average I and others think some (not all)

That's the problem with football fans like yourself. Why does club allegiance matter so much to you? Would your opinion change if I supported another club?

I am a fan of football first and foremost.

If I had a penny for every Liverpool fan that has come on our board and developed an obsession with us since Torres joined I'd be as rich as that couple who won the Euro Lottery

I just find it difficult to understand why you choose to comment so often about a team you obviously dislike, rather than focussing on the team you supposedly support.

If you genuinely were a fan of football, you wouldn't let your obvious bias cloud your every utterance

I am always talking about Chelsea, but other teams do interest me, as I am a fan of football. Sometimes you have to put on face, I am not going to come on here and start saying Dalglish is class and Suarez is a quality signing even if I really thought that, just as you wouldn't vice versa.

Liverpool average club, players, and the most glory hunting fans in the football world

I've seen you mocking the Spuds recently which is a tad harsh considering they have finished above you two years running
---------------------------------

Well we all know that two things contributed to our poor showing in the last two seasons - lack of squad depth, and off the field distractions.
These two factors have been put right, with a more capable squad forming and new and better owners and manager. On top of that we are looking to the future and have one of the best academies around, which we can only benefit from.
Lets not get it mixed up, Liverpool have been underachieving heavily in the last two years, so our squad is quite capable on springing a surprise on some over-confident Spurs and Arsenal fans if we play as we know we can again. Yet so many opposing fans think that we're suddenly an average in the space of two seasons.
I think we quite like it this way actually, the 'underdogs', it takes the pressure off if people think we're not 'expected' to finish in the top four as so many wums keep suggesting. It certainly did us no harm being underdogs in 2005.

United fan in peace.

i am hoping that all these signings do not push the promising youth players coming through onto the fringes again......

I was rather impressed with what i saw of Kelly last season, and Flanahan looked pretty neat and tidy too. From an England perspective we need a good pool of players, so i am hoping they get plenty of game time.

-------------------------

Possibly the dumbest thing I've ever heard. So we are glory hunting fans who support an 'average' club. Average suggesting we win nothing, so where is the glory in that.
I can only assume you are still a kid either physically or mentally, or both.

Note survey done by manu, chelsea and everton fans.

To be honest im not bothered how much we pay for a player (its not my money)

I could care less if we have glory hunters (as long as we support the lads)

And i really could'nt give a toss about you (your a muppet)

Now jog on or your getter FILTERED!!!!

If you really were a true football fan then you should have no trouble stating what you really believe. For example I think Luiz is a tremendous talent and will go on to be a superb signing for Chelsea.

The fact that you admit you can't do this illustrates that you really are not what you state you are.

---------------------------------------------

It certainly wasn't the glory that made me, unfortunately I wasn't around to enjoy the 70's and most of the 80's. By the time I was old enough to follow football we were in a pretty miserable early 90's.

I followed them because of both location and the mantra of the club. Liverpool fans are passionate and stick together, and really know their football. There is probably only Newcastle who can rival the atmosphere Anfield generates.

Liverpool are a team who have built up history through the years, unlike Chelsea who just arrived at it when Abramovic flew in.

No I'd say some fans remember the past, but most are looking forward to the future now!
