City lost at Goodison last season so apparently that makes it alright.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

Still have to go there, until you can better what we done you are setting yourself up for a fall.

I have seen a lot of United fans say that Elvis, and to be honest, I didn't see it in the way Kagawa played (I thought he was fantastic when you had the ball though).
-----------------------------------

Well you can't have been reading the same threads as me and perhaps were focussing your attention on the ball during the game. Kagawa worked as hard as anyone on the pitch last night, irrespective of which team were in possession. He was closing space down all game and shutting out passing opportunities.

RVP shoudda started instead of Wellbeck!

We got it wrong last night in many ways.

1) Valencia at RB
2) Carrick marking Fellaini
3) Playing 2 in midfield when we should have sacrificed Welbeck for Anderson from the start.

This would be my team for the Fulham game.

De Gea
Rafael Evans Vidic Evra
Valencia Carrick Anderson Young
Rooney RVP

Everton away is the real Stoke away on a wet Wednesday night. Big, physical, well organised. So how come United faced them with one real CB and a makeshift RB. And the the diddy men in centre mid, with the Ginger Ken Dodd himself (they are a similar age) pulling the strings.

Rio has been fading for ages. Why havent they got an established CB to cover? Why so weak in centre mid?

Ferguson tactical genius? Well concealed last night.

I don't think any of us have said we're guaranteed three points at Goodison, just laughing at your lot and your love in with hyperbole.

The Red Side,

That is what I mean, I am not criticising him as a player, just that your midfield set up last night did not have enough defensive stability for me. The stats from the game do back that up as well, Nani, Kagawa, Rooney and Wellbeck only made two successful tackles between them (one each for Nani and Kagawa), it just appeared to me that you were standing off quite a bit more than I usually see you doing.

As I already said though, I think it may well be different when Carrick moves back into midfield.

Bookmark all you want, the point of the article wasn't to say we'll do better against Everton than utd did.

As a matter of fact, result aside, I would be very disappointed if we didn't play better than you did at Goodison.

city have lost on five of their last seven visits to goodison park.

How can we do worse than lose? The difference last season was that we had 3 stonewall penalties turned down and lost to a goal that was scored way after play should have been stopped for a 2 footed tackle on Dzeko. We won the home game with ease though.

op, do you even know SAF.
He is very gracious in defeat. Whenever we are defeated, more often than not he along with the captain go to the opposition's dressing room post-match to say well played.
What he says in front of the media is multi-faceted.
Most of it is just to put the media's attention away from the team and to take it on himself. Sometimes to unnerve the next opposition team.
Jose was the same, hat is why there is so much respect b/w them.
SAF always thinks about the next match before making any comments. He knows the power of that.
Sometimes when the team did not play well, hw will blame referees, and sometimes when team plays well and still looses, he will blame the stronmg arm tactics of the opposition.
All these quotes are all part of the bigger game.
I generally dont pay attention to other manager's views and quotes and i guess so shd u.

we had some of you stating the fact that Southampton is the easiest home match this season.
We won it, i will remember this for when Southampton visit Trafford.

yet corrupted officials gifted you a victory against a newly promoted team, and you guys come on here giving it the biggen when we struggle against Everton who came 7th last season!

Valencia

I love Sir Alex but even I can admit that he is far from the most gracious loser. I wouldn't change him as his feisty style has done wonders for us but he is not in any way a good loser.

Well I'm more than happy to write comments about it Vidicschin, thanks though. I'm very happy we won and very happy you didn't.

The why have you let one of the biggest WUM's on the planet upset you so much?

Elvis,

I said I had seen those threads? I just disagree that Kagawa was good defensively last night, I don't think any of your front 4 were. As I said though, I fully expect your midfield to be more solid when Carrick returns there.

Why are you lot referring to last season so much? Sheesh, get more and more like the Scousers every day.

Half our team had stopped and had gone over to see if Dzeko had a quadruple fracture after that brutal foul.
