We cant possibly sell to Burnley. If he does go he should not be allowed to play against us, he will hit form and bang in a hat trick. Kean would say look what a good player he was!

There is more chance of us buying Harry Leyland than Fatwillie.

I don't understand the asset stripping any more. Why would a huge profitable company try to strip a loss making football club? If you want to see how badly a club can be run look at Rangers, now that is the way to ruin a club.

Rfik - its pretty basic maths:

Rovers were only making losses due to wages being circa 87% of turnover.

Club purchased for £43m - if you reduce wages tby 50% then player sales and parachute payments would equal profit. £17m for Jones, £8m for Samba, few mil for Kalli etc.

The signing of Rhodes might suggest this isn't the case, they just need to sack the nõb head now...

N'Zonzi looks to be on his way to Stoke and Goodwillie on loan to Palace.

Couldn't care less about N'zonzi. He made it very clear he didn't want to play for Kean any more so getting rid is the right option.

Letting Goodwillie go on loan now seems like a strange choice considering 2 of our strikers are on lengthy injuries.

Hopefully MartinO will be willing to play his heart out for the club now that he's staying till at least January.

Pie, when we have sold players such as Shearer, Sutton & Santa Cruz there was no shouts then of asset stripping, I don't like the way that Venky's or Kean run the club and hope they cluck off soon.
However I still find it hard to believe they have bought a club to intentionally ruin it for profit. They are a massive company who make vast profits. For all the hassle and bad press they get from trying to run a football club it does not add up.
My thoughts are that they have bought the club as a fashion accessory for the rich and famous and it has gone a bit wrong for them. (like the brothers dress sense)
Who or what would you like to see running the club, the fans? That would never work, unless it was non league football. Maybe another Oil giant may be interested, but lets face it Blackburn is not a glamorous area or football club so won't attract that sort of buyer.
Jack Walker was unique and the end of an era in football and I can see many more Portsmouth or Rangers style imploding.

Well we do have a sensible fan then,,well said mate,i keep asking the guys inour pub,,were and why did all this hatred for the Venkies and Kean come from?,and you know what the quote stuff that has happened since the hatred started, not why it all started in the first place, and these are the very same people who would not buy another season ticket or go to another game unless big Sam got sacked,ok this manager is not a good manager he has survived when other managers would have been sacked, but what is simple is that you either support the team or you dont ,,end of !!,,vendetta's against individuals should be kept away from the game,,on here is the place for all of that sh88te.

Rfik - i haven't said they ARE asset stripping merely demonstrated how it would be done. Their tenure thus far is full of contradiction and its difficult to assess their plan as it doesn't appear they have one.

The examples of previous sales aren't really relevant, we were operating at a loss hence sales were required to balance the books. As said previously, lowering wages would reduce this problem but look what happens.

Venkys generate huge revenue but relatively little profit, and those currently 'in charge' did not build the business. Furthermore, its 'Venkys London ltd' that purchased Rovers - they have no history, assets or anything.

I didn't expect a sale to be plain sailing, many claimed that the club had to be sold to compete, i thought we'd be less competitive if sold.

As for Venkys hatred, its built up over time. They got a decent reception initially but proceeded to give Kean pay rises, ban protests etc.
