I believe Stoopo and also the source (Phil Willis), but completely admit that there are lots of stories to the contrary, but stand by the validity of the sources.

I think we all have our fingers crossed that something happens soon.

I tend not to speculate on here about the takeover, but Stoopo shared the news from Willis and I believe both of them, even Stoopo agreed to take a bet on the news that if he loses he has to change his user name.

All we can do is cross our fingers and wait.

Hi everyone, this is my first post on here, I used to be on the bbc 606 but I have been reading cooments from Jonty, Stoopo, Roz, LIW, Meme, Highland, Lancashirewhite, etc with interest for a long period of time. I just think that Stoopo seems to be a good lad, I believe that he did indeed him this information, whether it has gone through tho only time will tell, Bates is such an antagonistic old man that there is no doubt he would throw some spanner in the works at the eleventh hour, it would give him great pleasure to cause us more pain on transfer deadline day, added to this a full house and a SKY game against Everton, he may well decide to stick around a bit longer, I hope not, as he clearly only has his own best interests at heart!!

Bates is one of those people that if I saw him in trouble I might dial 998.

I am a good lad and I honestly believe what I was told in that email. If it's correct then I'll be over the moon. If it's wrong I could say 'don't shoot the messenger' but I know some of you will anyway.

What happened to the takeover then, I thought confirmation was today?

The Sun said it on Weds. Bates would have written his notes that day or Thursday I guess. I got the info at 12-05pm Thursday so my guess is he wrote those notes before I got the info that we had been sold that day.

From reading them he obviously knew it was not going to happen or at least it wasn't going to be made public until after the 72 hours passed.

I apologise for believing what I was told. I passed it on in good faith and no malice was intended.

Reading bates programme notes it does appear that the takeover will happen, he just criticised the sun for stating 72 hr timescale.

He keeps talking about investment when he knows damn well it's a full blown takeover. As for wanting to leave a legacy - bullsiht! He's in it for what he can get.

Stoopo, you hit the nail on the head there, he's stripped this club for 7 years, enough is enough, but he's such an evil man that he enjoys playing the fans for fools and asset stripping the club, it gives him some sort of pleasure I suspect!!!
