Have things got so bad that we're in League One, now?
And to Megson...I'm sure there are other defensively minded managers out there...
Other than that...what he said ^^^
A measure of a good manager is his ability to see and employ good coaches. Instead we have an mates brigade at the wanderers. Do you know John Henry the reserve coach does not have a coaching badge to his name apparently. Supposedly Super John is to get a coaching role. Is he any good or just a pal of coyles? If he is just a pal then it's jobs for the boys yet again.
CC sorry mate the worst posted idea so far! Megson couldn't defend. Have you forgotten about the zero clean sheets. The surrendering of leads to other teams constantly! Can't believe that you have forgotten all that!!!!!
The one thing I do agree with is that OC isn't a bad manager. His first season and a half was proof of it. I would keep OC on if they replaced his back room team. Maybe even got in a DoF to oversee scouting and player acquisitions. LSL would be a good No.2 now, but is OC to stubborn to make that change? If he is he must be sacked and the club must restructure.
I think I could stand that JAH but then what is the point all he becomes is a powerless figure head
Frees him up to coach which is what he wants and makes sure the club hires the best person for the roles rather than jobs for his mates
But by taking his whole back room staff and putting one he has not choosen in the majority of coaching will be done by people who have little or no respect for him.
I also very much doubt the good coach thing. He can motivate players but the nitty gritty of tactics clueless.
If you were him it is clear defence is an issue. Take responsibility for it as its your neck on the line. I am sure he has but it has made no difference therefore bad coach. He is a younger version of Kevin keegan.
He has lost it now anyway. The fans don't trust him anymore. He is not good enough to take the club forward. Only ever have I seen Steve Kean keep his job after performing do badly and the fans turning on him. The longer he stays the worse it will get for him and that's a shame.
This line has been said by a select few who have banged their heads against a brick wall on here for 12 months. 'He is a good guy but poor manager.'
I suppose the a tual difference with Kean is he was never given a chance by Rovers whereas coyle has blown it himself
