He's a good player. I've always thought he was one of the most underrated in this league.
Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal are all in need of some depth in the striking department. He would have been a good squad player for any of them.
Bit pricey though, must say.

Fletcher isn't Arsenal quality, he is a good player for a mid table side he gets his fair share of goals but he wouldn't be able to make the step up. Imagine starting with him in the CL, Giroud has far more quality than Fletcher.
Did you see his finish the other day Superb.
But for a back up he sure is overpriced.
You know this really hacks me off.
Why is he not Arsenal quality? Is it because of:
1. His name
2. His nationality
3. His backround
4. He has experiance in the PL
Because his overall ability is certainly good enough!
Giroud is better as he will prove. Cheaper as well.
