I thought Kulu was crap today. 3 times just ran straight into McGinn. On one break where we could have had 3 on 3 he didn't even bother keeping up with play.
Btw, hadn't noticed but apparently Son had a hattrick today. All offside.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Son, is always fecking offside. For such an experienced player, he is clueless about looking down the line, and keeping onside.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn't even seem to cross his mind. Dumb as dumb can be.

Kulusevski was our best attacker and prob second or 3rd best player overall
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean his only touches which make Sky's highlights are when he missed a sitter (albeit after some good work to create the opportunity) and when he plays a very very simple pass to PEH (after a lucky rebound when he didn't bother making a run).
I know it's only 3 minutes of highlights, but not what you'd expect from the best attacker on the pitch in a game where there were probably about 20 chances.
Did he trouble the keeper once?

Are the Villa players talking about what a handful Kulu was? Don't make me laugh!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I mean the stats back me up over a 3 min highlights where there was 3 goals scored plus 3 offside goals taking up the time.
Whoscored.com rated him 7.75 which was 3rd highest after Porro 7.87 & GLC 7.81.
That’s about spot on I think

Very worried today, obviously we have injuries, City are the best side in the world right now, Haaland one of the worlds top 3 strikers and Ange will (quite rightly) stick to his philosophy. I could honestly see this ending 5-2, 6-3.

Today is a bit of a shot to nothing. You could have pencilled this in as a loss before all the injuries so if we get anything out of it it's a bonus.
I hope if we do lose there won't be idiots going too hard on Ange. We should all know why we're in this run of form.

Absolutely, going to away to City without a recognisable CB is as tough as it gets. It’s not Ange’s fault and we have been very competitive in the last 2 even with the casualty list - I put none of this on Ange.
We just need to ride the storm, hopefully take 4+ points from the 2 after this and then keep ourselves in the European spots until the window opens in Jan - then it’s up to Levy and the medical team.
West Ham likely to be just 3 points behind us after this weekend

They’ve got a tough run of games after this though. They are playing us with Romero back which should make us a bit better, they then have Fulham away, Wolves at home, Man U at home, Arsenal away and Brighton at home - who are their bogey side. With trips to Liverpool in the cup and a home game against Freiburg to determine who wins the Europa group. Injuries to Bowen and Antonio as well.
Hopefully we open the gap back up to 6 points on Thursday and then I do t think they will get close to us again this season unless these injuries continue

If we lose it would only spell the end of any title challenge we had any hopes for but for the CL race, there's still a long way to go.
The only way city will score a bunch is if you sit back and try to absorb the pressure.
Play ange ball and I think you have a slim chance.
Still lose but will be a better watch

West Ham won't be easy but it should be a more winnable game than the Villa one, even with the injuries. Although will at least have Romero back by then. The Newcastle game after will be a worry.
I`ll be astounded if we avoid a bending today

Moyes will turn into the ultimate tactician on the day and get his players to play like prime Barcelona.
The following week they’ll lose 3-0
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With our injuries, we're probably about level with West Ham in terms of quality. Won't matter who we play though, if we can't finish we'll be struggling to beat anyone.
Not sure what Gil is going to offer today against City, not much I suspect

Dier not even on the bench
Gil will improve with more game time.
I like him but he won't get much joy out of Walker
