So many young player who start the career with us with a trophy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Such a great comment. Not to mention the youth team players who were there and have tasted winning cups at youth level and now around the first team. Like Moore for example.

But for the likes of Micky, Udogie, BJ, Sarr, Gray and Spence, they should want more of this in years to come.

I was going to do an article on it in a day or so ( although not sure I can be bothered ).

So many 23 and under who don’t have the pressure of the club needing a trophy and having gone and delivered hopefully brings a different mentality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
opposite to an old argument six years ago when we were told the next gen start their careers at Spurs without a recent glory history to attach to emotionally

Ange changed that....boom

Fun fact, just been reading up on the UEFA Cup win in 1994 on the official Spurs site. Although I remember the game well I didn't realize after we won it we played our last game of the season... against Brighton!

Met Tony Parks once. He said whatever else he went through later in his career, that game will always stick in his memory moment by moment. He said he can remember it as if it was yesterday. Winning trophies is everything. To fans and players alike. Been saying it for years. No open top bud parade for coming fourth.

This moment is absolutely huge for spurs. All the best players want to play in games like that. They would have seen the celebrations. Young kids will support spurs because of it.

We must press on from here and WIN more. Fourth is not enough.

Levy’s end of season letter

Dear all, We did it. What an unforgettable night it was in Bilbao as we ended our long wait for glory," it read. "This is a huge moment for the whole club, an historic achievement that sees us lift our first European trophy since 1984.

"This club has been on an incredible journey on and off the pitch since we last won silverware, the League Cup, in 2008 – establishing ourselves as one of the biggest in Europe, moving into our new stadium and experiencing some incredible moments – we knew a trophy was the missing piece.

"We’ve come so close on a number of occasions and never quite got over the line – I have never wavered from the belief that success is just around the corner.

"I’d like to thank Ange and the players for making this incredible achievement possible and thanks to all of our amazing staff – there is so much hard work that goes on behind the scenes and this moment is for everyone to enjoy.

"I’d also like to thank you – the fans – for staying with us and carrying that same belief. I know it’s been hard at times and I have shared in that pain and frustration along the way. But when we all come together, we know we can achieve something special.

"Your support – whether that was in Bilbao, in our own stadium or in pubs and homes around the world – was the driving force behind our team. This is one trophy – our clear ambition as a club has always been long-term, sustained success, competing for top honours every year. We have now tasted success and we are determined to use this as a springboard for more.

"Let’s enjoy this moment as a club together, finish the season strong with a win today and go again next year. Most of all, be proud. Come on you Spurs! Daniel"

I wonder what the letter would have read had we not won the Europa. Would there have been one?

He kind of skimmed over the terrible league performance a bit it's safe to say.

Fairplay to Levy. He gets alot of flack when chit goes wrong so you have to applaud him when it goes the other way.

He ain't going no where until the Hotel and other real estate projects are built, so might as well save your energy calling for his head.

As long as the team builds on Wednesday, it really doesn't matter who own the club.

Yes we did and I've even said that Levy deserves the credit as well for sticking with Ange, when many of us, me included, wanted the manager sacked. Ange stuck to his guns and it resulted in a win.

However we can't be blind to the fact we came extremely close to having our worst ever season in decades but for one game, as much as a lot of fans will tell you "nobody will remember the poor form". It should matter though as we need to know it won't happen again going forward.

Levy does that. Like we all thought Ange was toast. When? Erm, after every single loss this season, we were sure he'd been fired the next day and well, whaddya know, Ange is still here. And thank goodness for that!
Today's game sure is going to be interesting though.

Especially after Levy himself is adamant we are going to go out with a bang. I'd say Ange is under more pressure today than he was before the Europa League Final after hearing that statement.
