Romero has spoken. Not as bad as I thought but a dig or two at the board

I think Romero and Son are off.

The only player not to post a message to Ange is Bentancur. Could be wrong though...

Upgrades required on. Son, Richy, Johnson, Davies & Bissouma… remember… let our heads rule our hearts!

Definitely time to move Son on, he was a shadow of himself last season. Do it now while the Saudi's will pay handsomely.

Romero as good as he is can be sold for the funds he brings in. Then the likes of Gil, Solomon and Richarlison can be punted for 10m+. Gives you a healthy wad to spend.

Agreed HB. Time to clear tracks for the Thomas Train.

Reset the clock.

He gets 6 windows from me.

The length of his contract.

Don't @ me.

I have no idea why we should sell Romero unless he is set to leave. Athletico Madrid do have interest.

He is looking to leave. Has been since January. Obstacles such as Levy and the medical team who funked him up so he ended up going to the Argentian physios instead.

When he starts talking to the journos saying :
the frequent rain and cold, is tough on his family, who are "locked up all the time because it's raining, it's freezing. They suffer a lot.". While he enjoys training, he finds the climate challenging for his family's well-being."

He is checking put mentally. Ange leaving probably put him over the edge.

Ange started with out Kane.

Frank will have to make do without Son and Romero.

Well done Levy.

To make life simple lets just raid Palace:

Out - Romero Son Bissouma Richarlison (£175m)

In - Guehi Wharton Eze Mateta (£250m)

£75m spent. All bases covered. Pay for Tel out of money raised from Gil, Solomon, Veliz, Donley.

May be even get rid of Dragusin, replace with Vuskovic as 4th choice CB.

All done without spending big in net terms.

Palace finished midtable, so you are just replacing underachieving players with mid table players. Surely Spurs have to aim higher.

that Vuskovic got potential to be the biggest overhyped and anticlimactic player

Difficult to think that we will ever be able to challenge at the very top with clubs like City, Chelsea, Liverpool seeming to have unlimited funds, Liverpool just paid Leverkusen £116m for Wirtz, midd table will be an achievement next season

#Tottenham have agreed a deal in principle to sign AS Roma midfielder Niccolò Pisilli. The deal will be pursued after the U21 European Championship.

Mid table would be a improvement

They also won the FA cup, beating City in the final.

You'd take that next season, right? You seemed happy with 17th and Europa

To be fair, Spurs are not really in a position right now to be attracting the very best talent out there at £100m.

If we had just won the league, then may be we'd be in the conversation.

As Sandy keeps lecturing us, league position is completely meaningless and it's all about winning cups.
