Find it weird people against another creative player from midfield
Offers a lot and strengthens the team and therefore the squad
DM now and Levy in
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea abit crazy isn’t it
We have too many forwards to sign a LW as well would need to sell Richarlison and Son and feels too much to do in one window
Even as an 8 he’d be a big upgrade on the likes of Sarr.
Just seems a solid signing imo
Still think LW looks bare if it's Son (past it), Tel (jury's out) and Johnson/Odobert (unproven on the left) competing for that spot
---
Timo Werner is available
And he’s English and getting in the England set up like having a good core of English players
Also this surely means no Grealish
I think Tel, Odobert and Son will be enough can’t upgrade too much in one summer
Need to sell richarlison though

I really don’t get the MGW signing and don’t see the fit personally, but that’s first impressions
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Frank a fan apparently
What are your concerns?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I always had him in the Rodgers/Dele/Willcock mould of AM and don’t think that’s what we need at all. I was hoping for a tempo setter.
Happy to be wrong though
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Definitely more like Rogers than Maddison, more a carrier than a creative passer
“Still think LW looks bare if it's Son (past it), Tel (jury's out) and Johnson/Odobert (unproven on the left) competing for that spot. And a really top drawer defensive midfielder would transform this side”
This is why the eze signing made more sense as he could play LW drifting in or played an out and out AM.
Still can’t sort out everything this window

Yeah, agreed. But if he's a Gooner, that was a non starter.
I like Gibbs-White a lot as a player though so I'm pleased if he comes, even if he wouldn't necessarily have been my first pick to fill the squad's current needs

Yep. Richarlison can go, prolly Son as well if we're honest and the MLS bid is real
Solanke
Son madders Kudus
Richy
Tel MGW Kulusevski
Johnson
Moore ? Odobert
Frank wanted BJ at Brentford right? And he had Mbeumo already. I reckon he's gonna be used as a striker
Don’t have to be a creative passer profile to still be a technical upgrade on players we have like Sarr notably

Needs to get a lot more comfortable with physical contact if he's going to play up front

Black Country through and through I thought
I notice in the Kudus videos there's a bunch where he's beaten everyone, got the ball in and they've got Soucek blowing out his arris trying to get on the end of it
Morgan Gibbs-White grew up supporting Manchester United. He has stated that his favorite player was Wayne Rooney, who was a key player for the club at the time, and that he also enjoyed watching Paul Scholes.
I dont think its MGW or Madders, both works.
MGW is defo more combative than Madders and may be in some games that's what we need. Madders is the better going forward though, when he's on his game he's top class.
If you wtach NF play last season, they were happy to take 40% possession or less, so while MGW may be a no.10 he spent a lot of time without the ball, doing more defensive actions that he'd probably want to.
That's why i do not really see his as a pure no.10, but capable of a bit more box to box, and certainly capable of dictating a bit more from deep.
I'd put him in a double pivot and think he'd cope fine, but i wouldnt do the same for Madders.

Agree with Devonshire. That's what the Forest fans are saying. Maybe not in the pivot but good in midfield
