Whatever the reason (probably a perceived lack of opportunity) I like that he'd be willing to do it. Shows how determined he is for the sake of his football career to leave a club like City for us, as a youngster. Makes me all the more happy to get him.

Feels like Pep experimented with high-risk dribbly boys on the wings (Savinho, Doku) but decided he didn't like it and is going back to wide 10s instead (Foden, Marmoush, Cherki)

City didn't want to sell Palmer either but he went because the player himself wanted to leave and Pep let him go. So I can believe the situation, it'll be whether Levy can agree with their terms....the least believable part of this story.
