Can’t believe we threw that away but look at the positives, we competed against one of the best teams in Europe and which looks positive under Franck

Irrespective of whether you value the Super Cup as a trophy of value I think the positive effect it has on team bonding and morale or confidence is invaluable, particularly going into a new season and with a new manager.
I think in that respect a missed opportunity for Spurs, against a really poor PSG performance but maybe not surprising given they had only been back in training for a week.
Thought you were by far the better more effective side for most of the game, would imagine most of your starting eleven would ALL get at least a minimum rating of 7 while would be hard pressed to identify many PSG players to merit a 7 at best.
As for Bissouma can't fault Frank for leaving the guy out for constantly being late for training but then have some sympathy as the watch he was wearing was probably a gift from Levy as part of Europa reward.

Strange how a rival fan, Chelsea of all people, get it over Tottenham’s very own.
Embarrassing as it is, I agree with everything you say, just look how winning the Europa League bonded the team, the club, the fans. Yet thefanbase on here seem more fixated on the up coming Premier League games such as Burnley
Facking Burnley
Honestly Bob, it's only football, you should give it up if it upsets you so much, it not worth it, it is grown men kicking a football around.
Tbf bissouma sell him. Let us down. If he had come on instead of gray, who knows what would have happened.
PSG's first goal came from a great strike and their second from a bit of quality. Both goals involved us switching off momentarily, the second of which including Spence who wasn't one of the subs.
People blaming Frank need to chill out. We can also praise him for the work done during set pieces, and the defensive organisation, something we rarely saw for the past year.
The result sucks but show a bit of perspective.
So just praise him regardless. Okay
Spence didn't switch off, one of the best players in football right now got a cross in. It's going to happen occasionally.
A bit of perspective is right. We're going to concede goals and it's not always mistakes/switching off or whatever. Teams are going to be better than us at times and it's not always that the manager is terrible.
Reality is, Frank's never managed against PSG or against any decent team in Europe tbf. He's going to have to learn quickly just like our young players. All we can do is choose to support them or be caants about it when it doesn't go right.
Funny, I thought I was the one who was supposed to be a Negative Nelly?
You don't have to just praise him but we can at least acknowledge there was much to be positive about too.

Well he kind of did, not just him though. The point is that passage of play didn't really relate to the subs coming on.
Surely VDV was more at fault for not stepping across

I did. We played well ( not great like some are saying ) for 60 mins then that’s where tactically we got it wrong.
Also I don’t think we are that much better defensively organised as we are that similar performance throughout the end of the Europa when we played out best defenders.
Moving forward though offensively if we don’t get reinforcements asap we are absolutely cooked this season as these lot aren’t going to get the goals to be a top 6 club.
For the goals there’s no point blaming anyone it is just what happens when you sit back for a large period of time.
There needed to be a tactical switch and we didn’t do it so that’s the risk.
Also I don’t think we are that much better defensively organised as we are that similar performance throughout the end of the Europa when we played out best defenders.
------------------------------------------------------------------
But then we never played a side as good as PSG and we only scored once in the tough games like Frankfurt and the final.
No tonight was not perfect for sure but if fans cannot see the level of improvement since last year I am astounded.
Y'all acting like this was a friendly. Making excuses.
It was the SUPER Cup.
Against PSG.
No excuses.
The subbing was to blame.
ENDOF.
