well i hope those few extra pennies we saved from dragging our feet on this deal feel nice inside Levy's pocket. Why are we the only club that doesn't just immediately sign a player the day the decide they want him? We have more areas to address but I don't think anyone thought we were going to sort them all in this window. I wouldn't have wanted us to either. Better for Frank to be able to work with current players and see what he can do for his first season. Too many new players along with a new manager might be asking a lot to get them to all click. If we can get another LW and a new number 10 then I'm relatively happy.

Crazy we're still trying to get a new number 10 (or Eze) in this far into a window though when that should have been number 1 priority, even before Madders got injured.

we were quick with MGW but should have been straight in for someone after we knew that werent happening

I'm more hopeful than not it will come off but still, with how long this deal is taking my first emotion if we do pull it off will be one of relief, rather than excitement.

Yep pretty much over and knowing this club there won't have been some back up option to look to should it collapse. If we can't get a left winger in then that's poor. We've had all summer to sign one.

Vickery makes a good point about Romero on SSN about it being big World Cup year for him to retain with Argentina, have to wonder if it will impact his availability and performances over the season.

Regardless still a massive player for us but him and VDV not being about for many games again means Danso, Dragusin, Davies, Vuskovic and even Gray gonna be used there
