Should we be that unhappy if we end up keeping him? If Palhinha gets injured then we have no other proper defensive midfielder and we don't look like getting one in the next 3 days.

Bergvall, Gray, Bentancur, Sarr all can play in the midfield pivot and if he Palhinha is used sparely in big games especially hoepfully he stays available

theres a big drop off in quality for sure but ideally we would have of course sold Bissouma at the beginning of the window and signed a more progressive passer as well as Pahlinha

Bissouma needs to be sold but seeing as we're leaving ourselves short this window we could probably do with all the help we can get, cause you never know what is round the corner. Levy looks like he wants to make the squad weaker just how he did when he sold Dembele after a summer of no signings.
