I only ever heard of Simons when PSG brought him, then sold him. But looking at his stats, he put good numbers in the dutch league, hardly played at PSG, was on course to better his GA last season, than the previous season, had it none been for an injury.

My only worry is he looks abit light weight for the prem but he does have close control and an eye for a pass. I do get slight Giovani Dos Santos vibes. He very right footed as well.

The fee looks excessive and someone like McAtee looks better value. Same age as well. I do feel like we have missed out on him.

BEK is a year younger than both. Maybe he does need one more season to develop?

Whatever they decide I guess.
