The state of the defence makes me worried when we come up against a big team. We were hammered 7-2 by Munich under Poch. Number of chances we gave away today you could see a similar scoreline facing them again, maybe 7-3 since we seem to score that extra third goal now under Jose.

Need to stop this capitulation in the 2nd half, becoming a recurring theme. As recent as a year ago we were finishing games strong, now we are trying our best to throw it away. 2 in a row now 3 up game should be done, then make it close. RB, CB, LB, DM 4 priority signing asap

Better teams will have a field day at the amount of chances we give up

Yeh I want a whole new defence by next season. None of them are good enough. We can keep the likes of Verts and Sanchez as subs, but we need 2 new full backs and a new pair of centre backs, they are a shambles. Thank god Jose got us firing in attack

Chelsea lost their last 2 and we're still 6 off them. Jeez...good thing I stopped looking at the table weeks ago...I would've been depressed.

Mourinho known for more solid defending as well so youd hope he can sure it up.

Exactly. I'm not worried. They're good defenders and this is what Jose is famous for. He'll organise them. The hardest part is creating chances / looking dangerous in attack and we've got that sorted easily.

So just get one of our players to go down and pretend to be injured in the 73rd and 96th minutes and we might get away with it.

20 shots conceded that pathetic. Like an arsenal performance

I dont think its just the defence the midfield in front of them is extremely suspect.

We have started conceding the space out wide again which has been a problem for over a year now.

We need full backs and we need them badly and if Jose thinks Dier is the answer in midfield he has got to be kidding. The Dier of old maybe but the present day Dier is a liability.

Phenom? Did you see Sissoko's goal today? Reminded me of Van Basten's. Not saying it was better but technically they're comparable.
