And that lies the problem Spurtle. Chelsea etc sign top class players and win competitions because of this. All we ever do is sign players for the future and wonder why we never win anything. We have got the worst recruitment on the planet.

Agreed. Seen absolutely nothing from him, not even a hint of excitement. I'm sure our academy has wingers just as bad as him?

I mean there's nothing wrong with signing players for the future but we just don't sign enough already proven quality players and/or players accustomed to the PL to go with the potentials.
