About time Dier got some respect, another good performance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He had his moment late on when he let Toney in. That's a goal against a better team. He's been better.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Every defender makes mistakes / loses battles.
I just feel Dier gets unfair criticism. Wind far more duels than he loses. Organizes things at the back. Would run through a brick wall for spurs.

Hope Lloris stays until we have some sort continuity plan for his replacement - Gollini ain’t it
Another position that needs some attention to add to the list
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Weird one. Hart and Gollini haven’t been better than Gazza imo

His physical attributes aren't called into question. It's his decision making. Especially in the box. He's had previous and it's a fair criticism.

Should judge game on game imo.
He’s had a good season.
Romero makes as many or more mistakes than Dier, but it’s ignored.
Romero’s red card was a bit of an insight - will he learn from it or is it part of his game? Looks a bit rash at times.
He’s always injured anyway and seems to love a jolly to South America with GLC a bit too much

Previous to that though, he makes sloppy passes that are ignored. Dier can’t header the ball off from an areal challenge without it being questioned
He looks like he could be class though.

Exactly right..solid tonight as he was vs Leeds. Also a couple great passes too.
Afternoon all
I'm hoping we keep the momentum going from the last game and pick up another 3pts. Top 4 awaits I'd we do.. COYS
We don’t have a single summer signing in that 1st 11. Very worrying isn’t it and a big reason why the club has stagnated so much

Agree Don, our recruitment team in general have been very poor for a while now
He like Tanganga doesn’t he?
But again, like Royal, he’s not that great going forward. Maybe he will develop this part of his game with experience👍
I’d see Tanganga as a good CB in a 3 as well
A chance for Tanganga to impress

That is crazy. Although Royal has played a lot. We signed Gil but he’s nowhere near EPL yet.
Another wasted summer when you think we only managed to bin-off Sisokko and Aurier too!
All the “Don” Paraticci talk was total bollox
Agreed, apart from Romero who still hasn’t set the world alight, none of our signings have really made much difference. Emerson gives a level of calmness that we didn’t have with Aurier, but again he hasn’t set the world on fire either. Like stated above, the recruitment has been pi** poor. We have been relying on the likes of Kane and Son for far too long now.
Romero is a loan isn’t it? He’s going to have to have an unbelievable Feb-May to get that turned permanent I’d hope!

Think it’s a similar style transfer to the Lo Celso one. Fack knows why we kept him on. Injury prone and has probably scored only 1-2 goals. Not sure on assists.
Whilst I agree cause obvs our recruitment has been our main downfall, Emerson and Romero make up half the signings we brought in who stayed at the club this season, and but for illness and injury both would have started.
Whilst it hasn't been great signing and moving on players, sometimes you have to accept that fitness and injuries of players when you bring them in take an unlucky turn also.
Don't think any of our players are asthmatic for example
