First goal kind of just happens when you play vs world class (or ex world class) attackers. Second was avoidable.

It wasn't a bad half but Son needs to be better and Reggie has been a liability. I keep expecting the play to break up with him.

All to play for. Both teams fragile.

Hard to believe we’re losing this. That said, really happy with that first half performance. Front foot at Old Trafford controlling the game. That’s how I want to see us play.

Pretty predictable so far, except we're actually dominating possession at times. Could've easily gone in 2-2 if Kane leaves that. COYS

Thought we were the better team in that half to be honest. So I’m not too disheartened.

A worldie from Rapenaldo can happen to anyone, the second goal was poor and avoidable, but we’ve created plenty.

That defending for the 2nd goal was shocking.

Progress on the style though. We look cohesive. Even if we lost playing like this I can still see a lot we can build from.

I'm interested to see if Conte can make a positive change to team or system !

To be honest, I'd rather see a good performance and loss than clinging on to a draw. Can definitely see the progress of Conte, just needs to be backed in the summer.

Won't define Spurs season. Still plenty of easier games left.

Reggie putting his hand up for offside while clearly on.

Dier at fault for first goal.

But Romero for the second goal shows that he is not yet the defender many are believing him to be.

Need to be sharper/more.focused at the back and pick the right options going forward....another goal in this for us.

Reggie is just as to blame for the second. Keeping Sancho onside and not busting a gut to get back. He's had a rubbish game.

Poor defending and poor decision making has cost us, replace Hojbjerg with a real top quality midfielder and it would make a heap of difference
