Now that we have won the champions league

Wouldn't Riquelme's penalty have sent the game into extra-time? Can't conclude Arsenal would've been knocked out.

Plus, wasn't Lehmann on the end of 10 straight clean sheets?

All that must have added up to enormous pressure, so maybe luck didn't have all that much to do with Lehmann saving it.

I was rooting for Villarreal btw.

History Lesson 2005 we lost to Liverpool with the ghost goal

"And you had the cheek to include 2005 where 10-man Monaco whipped you in the semis."

oh dear

Plus even in the Monaco match we clawed it back to Stamford Bridge, was leading on away goals and on the stoke of half time Ibarra handballed it in.

No one complaining about luck that night ofcourse

Dirt cheating spanisher.

The point is everyone can point to CL exits they didn't deserve. But your fortune in winning it last year was freakish. It's pretty clear and was the most undeserved major title I've ever seen any team win.

Ok then, show me any other manager that would play any other way at The Nou camp with 10 men and no centre half's and i will show you a incredibly naive idiot

And that's not mentioning the most cowardly bus parking I've seen from such an expensive team.

With no centre half's you mean

Real, United play the same way at the Nou Camp, every one who has any desire to get a result there does

Lex - our fan base is probably the same now as it was in the 50s/60s/70s maybe smaller!

yeah, cos Chelsea were so adventurous with 11 men in both legs and the final as well.

Sheriff seems a little bitter!

Funny thing is if Wenger showed half of the tactical flexibility Robbie did, he would have won the CL atleast three times by now.

Yeah because with our best midfielder and best 2 defenders suspended and our 2 centre half's playing through injurry were really going to go at them and play the high line

Robbie isn't Wenger or AVB

Why are you guys bothering with these Arsenal fans? It's clear they are slowly turning into Liverpool fans, clutching at straws with their history. Haha at least Liverpool have won a champions league. Seriously Arsenal have lost it.

And playing the final in the oppositions own ground with a threadbare squad!

Far from lucky the determination not to lose was amazing!
