Don't worry, pal. Your mum will soon be back from the shops to give you the attention you so obviously crave.

You're an idiot.

He could only play a maximum of 2 out of the top 4 anyway, fool - and he proved that anyway in his previous tournament (Olympics).

Now go away and continue being consumed by your hatred. Sooner or later it will eat you completely, and all that remains will be a stain on everyone else's memory,

Yes, it's tainted.

Murray fans are always pointing out the fact that he was 'born at the wrong time' (in relation to Federer and Nadal). You can't use that as an excuse for his lack of slams and then ignore the fact that he didn't have to play either in this tournament.

When they are all fit you will be saying he didnt beat all of Federer,Nadal & Djokovic.

Excellent article

Of course not. Nadal's Slams are tainted. He's currently getting all the dope and performance enhancing drugs out of his body to challenge a clean athlete like Murray. Well done Andy, you beat the world's best player over the past 18 months to win your first one. If only it was Phillopousis or Peurta...

Fed, Nadal and Djokovic all won their first GS against someone who hadn't won one. Murray has won his against a five time champion.

Typical of this country though, someone acheives something magnificent and there's always some daft wee pr!ck looking to put you down.

If there were a Hindrance violation for ja606, this article would qualify for it.

I like this article. It is logical.

By the same logic it also means that anybody who didn't beat Real Madrid and Barcelona on the way to winning the Champions League in the last 10 years has had a "tainted" win, given that those two sides are the best teams in Europe.

You can't argue with logic.

Totally agree Ivan.

Ruiney has a point, after murray let britain down at wimbledon he gained a cheap easy victory at the olympics which was without question a fix, now he is hailed as a hero for winning a 2nd rate competition, tennis should only be played on grass everyone knows that

Still 76 years since an Englishman won a Grand Slam. When will the wait end?

posted on 11/9/12

Marray won wimbledon this year, the event which the crying scotsman bottled

posted on 11/9/12

I'm talking proper adult tennis, not juniors. 76 years and the wait goes on. Oh dear, poor rubbish English tennis players.

posted on 11/9/12

I'm not on about juniours either Marray is 31, do you know anything about a tennis? you are clearly a plastic who has just started liking tennis since last night

What and you think winning doubles is comparable to a gruelling US open win

posted on 11/9/12

if anything it's more gruelling, he has to take on 2 men and bravely win at the much more prestigious competition
