Collocini, even though he is enetering his 30's, gives you a more solid outlook at CB. Been a rock for Newcastle the past 2 seasons and probably their best player in that time. Underrated on here actually. Without him, Newcastle have looked poor even with the likes of, Cisse, Ba, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Krul etc.

Collocini > Sakho then? I've also noticed you have just got Gargano which is a great capture and he is dling well at Inter so a good replacement for Martinez if he was to leave. Many would agree Collocini would be a very good signing for you really.

If X was De Jong? Could we take that extra improvement out? It would seem like a fiar deal as De Jong has done well in a poor AC Milan side so far this season actually. He has been ne of their better performers this season.

Collocini would be a starter for you and I'm giving you that back-up improvement to tempt you. Gargano = De Jong IMO realy so could do rotation with both of them really and play different teams against weaker teams? Gives you a better outlook in DM and DC really, many people could agree to be honest.

Yes he would. He is > Kaboul IMO. Ask who people prefer on the homepage and see what they say. Kaboulstruggling to get into the Tottenham side and lookstobe 4th choice with Vertonghen, Caulker and Gallas ahead of him whilst Collocini been one of the best CB's in the PL for the last 2 seasons running and Newcastle have looked poor without him even with Krul, Ba, Cisse, Cabaye, Ben Arfa etc.

But LSTD has just said as the only opinion so far that Collocini just edges it so it's probably Collocini >= Kaboul so far. Again, play a rotation game at the back as well. Or play 3 CB's and Wing backs with Debuchy and Monreal?
