Siggy looks busted right now...odd - he was one of the most dangerous players we faced last season I thought, I was so excited about signing him. Pressure perhaps.

Walker - has been dreadful for a while stretching back into last season.

Bale, LB - could work very well for us long-term I reckon (just having him there as an option). It'll confuse the hell out of any team we play if we name him there and then switch him further forward as the game progresses - far better for me than starting LM and coming into the centre where he has never done anything. Also effective when he switched with Lennon to the right today, mind (when he was pushed up).

Verty - I missed their goal (did he mess up?) but thought he was IMMENSE - really beyond my expectations Could he be our new talisman. I THINK SO!!

Full credit to AVB for me today - experimented with a brand new team and changed it to effect when it didn't work. Also good to see Freund more involved and getting very passionate on the touchline.

1 loss in 6 right (with a couple by rights we should have won rather than draw)?

I only saw the second half so my opinions of the players may be a little off.

I agree with Dembele, Vert and Dempsey, I also thought Sandro and Caulker did well today (in the second half anyway)

Walker has been the most disappointing player so far this season for me, especially as I think he's a very good player.
Siggurdson again was disappointing but I do think he is a classy player who has his odd flashes of brilliance (i.e. pass to Lennon last week) and I do think he'll eventually come good.

Lastly I've had a lot of time for Gallas, but today really opened my eye's to his limitations and I think now its time to take a gamble with Caulker.

Kimchi

Their goal was a mixture of Dembele making a weak challenge on Faurlin and him playing a good pass in behind Vertonghen. A bit harsh to blame anyone really.

Super.. good job you missed it mate.. shocking

Sigs can't live on that pass forever, as our supposed VDV replacement he just isn't having an impact. At the moment i'd rather Townsend was given a chance.

Still, plenty of positives for all the negatives.
