Vermaelen is Captain and is undroppable

BS. Why does being captain make you undroppable? Maybe that is the mindset TV has, hence his awful form so far this season.
I'm not saying his ability and form makes him undroppable.
Managers hardly ever drop their captains, and Wenger never has or will be likely to do so.
Accepting this reality means we accept that TV will play no matter what (almost).
Wenger has never had the reason to. Usually our captain has been our best player with no-one close in quality to come in. This season is different.
I hope Wenger and TV do not have the mindset that TV is undroppable.

Nah.
It could work, we played well when we switched to 3-5-2 yesterday but in reality we started playing well before the change in formation and West Ham began to tire.
It does look like Wenger is thinking about it though. Why else would he bring on Koscielny for Podolski?
I think we'll start all games with 4-3-3 but we could make tactical tweaks in games we are struggling.

Wenger has often thrown on a CB in the dying minutes of games. Even back when Gilberto was on the bench he would be thrown on and go and sit in the back 5.
Nothing new, and no reason to suggest it is a sign of a change in formation.
Also, Giroud could be more effective playing with a partner. At Montpellier he scored 25 goals playing with Kamara and for France Dechamps has started using Giroud-Benzema as his partnership up front.
Does look like a good formation which allows us to play 2 up front either. Wouldn't be against it.
Also with santos playing at lwb we would have a Great attack from the left. Gibbs final ball is very poor.

Like the idea for when we need to change things up a little, but its not something we can go with for the whole season simply because we don't have the depth to start Verm, Kos and Mert more or less every game. We only have Djourou and Miquel who could come in (and Squillaci if you're really desperate ).
Our squad is suited to 433, but as an alternative when we need to switch things up then 532/352 could work very well.

Stop recycling my ideas of last year
Your argument that Koscielny is too good to be benched also applies to the midfield player who he would replace in the switch to your system. What do you plan to do with Gervinho, Ox, Walcott, Rosicky, Ramsey ...
