I never noticed it tbh. But must be a good reason to remove it.

Massive overreaction to take the map down completely. It was a good map.

Ridiculous to take it down. Maybe remove the picture if you want to save some bad publicity, but removing the whole map is just awful.

Stupid to complain about it anyway. The game came out years ago, and now you complain? How awful it must be.

I think they should bring it back put with the picture enlarged and stuck on the wall of every building on the map.

Bit weird, they could've just moved it??

Finally watched the video. It looks like they're complaining about the tiniest bit of writing you could only find if you were looking for it. Much ado about nothing.

Why is he so angry about the placement of a quote yet he's quite happy to kill people on a video game?

With globalization every company has to ensure that it does well to adapt to each culture e.g English for English speaking countries , Arabic for the Arabs, Hebrew for the Jews and so forth.
So you have to appeal to adapted instead of producing one standard version.
What am trying to say is that there properly a lot of COD fans in Arab land and COD don't want to lose their revenue.
I don't understand why people are including religion in games and general things when its a very sensitive issue at present time.
Are people trying to stir up controvsery to gain futher sales or is it to divide people and make them hate another.
I been to Muslim countries and found that even though there are restrictions, they do not say anything offensive about Jesus, Budda , burn the Bible or make movies.

They shouldn't get rid of the map but instead just remove the saying.
