You are allowed 3 over-aged players, I believe.
Ha, yeah he is 26. He must have thought Lennon was taking the pee. Fair play to him for playing, it shows a good attitude.
He's not in a position to think that Lennon is taking the pìss.
Before he signed he was out of contract with not much interest in him, especially from a club if Celtic's stature. Prior to this he plied his trade in the Spanish second division for a mid table team, the Spanish second division being nowhere near close in quality as la Liga.
He moved to a team with two established strikers in Hooper and Stokes, with one youngster breaking into the team in Watt, and with an established la Liga striker just signed on loan.
With that in mind he must know he has to prove himself and put himself in a position to get himself into the team. If that means playing bounce matches with youngsters or going the extra mile in training then that it's what I'd be doing, and that's what he should be doing. The same goes for anyone wanting to pull on the hoops

they got promoted last season
My bad, the fact is they never kept him on the books and he was a free agent with not a lot if big clubs interested in him.
He had to earn his place in the team like anyone else and if that means playing games with kids to get a look in then so be it.
The fact that he did tells me he has a good attitude and wants to play
he scored 18 goals last season
I like the look of the lad to be honest
I was impressed with his debut too
Looks a lot more direct than Miku who had underwhelmed me so far
He looks much better than Miku. Can't believe he got the number 7. Still, this was not a bounce match, this was an official U20 game. I doubt many 26 year olds signing for a new club would be thinking they would be playing for the youth team.

Miku is class, watched him for a few years in La Liga
he just needs a run of games
