If it becomes a BWFC fans petition, i will personally employ the SAS to infiltrate the petition and tear it up!

Some Bolton fans opinions that you hear in the ground are beyond any reasonable modicum of intelligence. Im all for differing opinions etc but at least back it up.

My three choices would be:

1 - Me
2 - Largehat (rebel as his assistant)
3 - Tony Kelly (with beer as his assistant)

My top three;

1. Solksjear (done well at Molde)
2. Bradley (bit of a long shot)
3. Robinson (consistantly peformed well, albeit in a lower league)

Three very astute choices.

BWFCCLEGG (U7583) You must have some very serious connections.

I like the thought of largehat and Rebel. There would be training field bust ups everyday. Having said that largehat would soon show him the door or give him the lawnmower.

Just going to throw in a random name after talking to a American Bwfc fan on twitter. Jason Kreis.

He is manager of Real Salt Lake and has been for 5 years. When compared with NY Red Bulls and LA this team is one of the smaller ones in the league. Despite this he has won them their first ever MLS Cup (youngest manager to ever do so,) got them further in the CONCAF Champions League then any other MLS club. He has a 40.21% win ratio with a nearly identical draw/loss numbers. On top of all this his brand of football is pleasing on the eye and apparently is known for

"his single-minded focus to soccer, admitting to being obsessive about game preparation."

Which would be a refreshing change to the recent training methods. In short, he is my unlikely pick.

SWIE - Largehat and rebel would be genius - Passion and logic all together in one sublime mess! - Champions League would be a walkover!

Woody-Cornish-Wanderer. Sounds like a good manager but sadly I don't think PG will be looking so far afield.

apparently the shortlist goes as follows:

Fabian De Freitas,
Jardel,
Andy Walker,
Les Ferdinand.

Apparently he has a thing about appointing our ex strikers that didn't stay too long now.

Very good call woody. Personally I'd go for:

1: Holloway
2: Slavin Bilic (I think it's realistic)
3: Di Canio / Solskjaer

1. Hierro and Campo
2. OGS
3. Bilic

1 Solksjaer
2 Hierro
3 Holloway

I would like Campo to come in as a coach for any of them. That Yankie sounds an interesting choice, but never being involved in English football is not ideal.

Don't think Bilic is realistic, only been at Spartak Moscow for about 3 month.

1. Ian Holloway
2. Solskjaer
3. Di Canio

^^^^^^^ I meant Locomotiv Moscow, not Spartak

I have spoken to my PR people and I can confirm that there has been no contact between Bolton Wanderers and my agent regarding the managerial vacancy at The Reebok Stadium, but that things can change very quickly in football. This speculation is flattering and proves that I am doing a good job as JA606 know-it-all. It's always flattering to be linked to big jobs.

Moose
Peter Reid as a short term, get us up or else deal
Andy Walker (although the SFA may demand a chunk of cash)

There is no perfect solution. That's the beauty of football.

Di Canio is mad and only experienced in lower league.

Solskjaer no English first team experience.

Bradley has mainly international experience thinking Phil Scolari.

Michael Appleton as far as I know he never existed before the pre season game Coyle stupidly asked if they would compete with us then got battered 3-0
