You'd really go for Harlequins - Ulster? Wow, I think Leinster will be very hard to stop, and I'm not sure whose really out there to do that - Clermont, Biarritz maybe, Saracens or Harlequins I think would have to have a real "on" day

Any news on what shape O'Connell is in - he's been out for a long time - since Feb or March, but he seemed to only be partially fit then

I think he's in a similar position to McCaw before the WC. in that he's only on one leg and at best 75% Seems to me he's been rushed back. Reports from as recent as a few days ago were saying he would not be back for the first rounds of the HC and probably hos first game would be in the pro12. Either they are rushing him back or they were deliberately keeping the cards close to the chest. Other than that tho and their loss in Dublin last week, i wouldn't write off Munster. POC coming back will help to build the passion and desire in what is now a young team. Thats why i think he's been rushed. Because Munster have kind of lost the Munster grit. When they had average enough players they were beating the very best because they had an XFactor and a crazy desire. Now they have REAL talent! but lost that.

Thats just my 2 cents anyway.

On Leinster.... Im Bias
I think they need some more competition in the Squad, D'Arcy is on his last legs for sure. Fergus McFadden is just better at the moment, but D'Arcy seems to be gilded the 12 shirt when fit.

Leinster ace up the sleeve is their ability to swap positions seamlessly. Seton moving to 12, Isa moving anywhere, Drico moving to 12 and wing on a whim, McFadden the same, Fione Carr dropping goals from 15 or 10, the back row, is incredible and the scrum heavy and unmovable. Strauss look great! now qualified for Ireland is play his best rugby looking for a call up.

Ye Leinster are the best team in Europe by a margin, but the best team does not always win and 3 in a row.... what are the odds!

In short I'd say not that long (on the odds)

It will be interesting to see whether the money the French have spent permeates through to results. Similarly how the Welsh & Scottish sides do - was last year a one off for Edinburgh or the start of something bigger? They have a tough home game against Saracens any a real barsteward of a group

You got ur answer mate! Edinburgh, following in a long line of false Scottish dawns. Im genuinely tired of all the misplaced expectation for the scots. There will be some who will call them dark horses again this year for the 6n's and like last year, and the year before add 10 more i will reply.... sorry your wrong.

Anyway, on to what matters. Munster bottled it big time. and i called it on sport guru! i have racing by 7 (close enough) But it gives me no pleasure to be right. I want munster to win every game they play until they play leinster.

Anyway turning over the the leinster game now. i have leinster by 22 lets see what happens. could be tight. exeter have nothing to lose, but i dont think they will be prepared for what is test match intensity and playing the most ruthless team in europe. gona be a try festival i reckon
