To be fair once you start comparing specific players to dealings Liverpool have made in the last six months you'd get over evalutions on everyone.
For example, if Henderson is actually worth 20M, anything below 50M for Modric would be taken the mick. Or another direct comparison, if Carroll's true value is 35M, then Neymar/Aguero at 40-50M is daylight robbery.
Well according to the Scousers Suarez is worth £80m so I totally agree, if we are playing by their rules Sturridge is worth £40m.
Because the market is so inflated (thanks to Liverpool) it is hard to estimate a players value.
I would have valued Sturridge at around £15m had Liverpool not bought so many overrated and average players. But given Sturridge is a good player, I cannot see how Henderson can be worth more than him.
If Henderson is £20m the minimum we should demand for Sturridge is £25m IMO
English players are so overpriced these days, Sanchez has just gone to Barca for £23m. Barca will play £33m tops. Bargain of the summer IMO.
I said we should have gone in for Sanchez this time last year and if we had, we would have won the league last season IMO

I hope not Jolly Roger.
Sturridge has huge potential, I noticed it at City and was ecstatic when we came for him.
I would rather not have Modric if it means selling a young English player with huge potential. We are short of attacking players anyway. With Torres misfiring, if Drogba were to get injured we'd have more chance of seeing pigs flying over the Alps tomorrow than scoring more than 50-60 goals this season. Other than Drogba and Torres, Sturridge is the only attacking player I have faith in at the moment.
I get the feeling whoever wins the league this season, will need to score at least 75 goals.

Agreed, if Modric is to be a Chelsea player before August 31st, i get the growing feeling Sturridge will be moving across London to make it happen. I'd rather we kept him personally even if it meant paying crazy money for Luka.
Realistically if we finalise Lukaku, it wouldn't hinder us dearly beyond the impact he'd give to Tottenham's front line (which would be significant enough to take into consideration). But i wouldn't hold it against the board if that's what was required to get Modric, cos the priority this summer, which has only been confirm by our pre-season so far, has to be this creative midfielder we DESPERATELY need now.
So how much is Josh worth compared to Henderson's price
Agree with Bubbles on Danny
God forbid, Sturridge should never be sold to spurs
Sturridge, £12m bargain.
Cheers
He is worth more than Carroll was sold toe the scouse for, our board are simply daft for pushing him out for a World Class Flop like Torres without even him a chance.
