We need an Arshavin-esque signing in January, someone who will give everyone around the club a real lift. I vote Isco.
Cazorla has been off the boil for a while now if you ask me
Its too soon to ask everything to go through him

Completely agree, hope his goal today will give him some confidence. Although, I'm not sure it's confidence he lacks. I think he's suffering from a lack of consistency in playing with the same players regularly. Seems we keep changing things around and injuries hit etc.
He's a quality player but not every quality player adapts fully to the Premiership in their first season. Some never do fully. I think he will but I'm not ready to say he is basically world class like some of our fans.
Is Isco really what we need? A lot of people on here still seem to think we've been ok defensively this season because of some of the other teams performances in comparison.
We have not been ok at all. I think this will improve once Gibbs is back but I think we lack steel in the middle.
A centre-forward would also be preferable.
Yeah I'd agree we also probably need a top draw centre back and a bulky centre midfielder.
Isco
Fellaini
Demba Ba
Ba's still got the clause. Fellaini would move to us, just like Arteta did. Isco would sign too, I think.
Those three, £30m combined, transform us into real contenders.
And when we draw a couple then scrape a few lucky wins that'll be deemed reason enough for no January signings to be necessary.
^^^£30m is a conservative estimate, probably a lot more, but we can easily afford it...
If Walcott goes as is likely we will defintely sign someone but its probably going to be an unproven youngster like Zaha or a stop gap
Per has been great. Jenko has been great. Jack has been great and i think Santi has been fabulous. The problem is that after MOTD everyone is looking to close Santi down so that Arsenal can't play and that is what has happened. Others can't seem to step into the breech and utd today did everything to close us down in the middle. In a funny way Arsenal have always been good when we have had the ball going to the wings but if you have Sagna and Santos there (like today) we have not had the width and then our game becomes predictable unless we have Diaby, Jack or Santi dribbling through!
Fellaini isn't really the position we require in my opinion, he's too offensive. I'm tempted to say Capoue or M'Vila, but I'm sick of slightly dodgy players from France. Sven Bender maybe?
We need another forward, don't forget we lose gervinho/chamakh, if theo doesn't sign we will sell him.

I doubt it,I reckon he'll leave, but he won't go to you. No one else came in for Arteta, but I bet you there will be a queue for Fellaini, and there's no way Wenger will pay 25+ million for him, because that's what I reckon he'll go for. We paid 15 for him,and he's a far better player now.
Alassmithandjones, how long does he have left on his contract?
how long does he have left on his contract?
about three and a half years
He signed a 5 year contract in November 2011,so he's got 4 years left.
Dubbed The New Wenger - Keepin it real since 99
What happened to ^^^^ this clown? He reckoned Fellaini wouldn't get into your side.
