We played far from OK. I'm not going overboard with criticism but the 2-1 scoreline flattered us, a lot. RvP, Rooney, Valenica all missed penalties/sitters and were it not for Mertesacker it would have been many more.
We created next to nothing going forward, Santi's goal was our first shot on target and our only other moments came from a couple of half-chances for Giroud.

It was definitely not a pen and rvp tackle was border line. I'm resigned to fact that we will undoubtedly concede a pen every other game at old trafford. It's just the way it is over there.

Wilshere deserved to be sent off. He was an reckless and Dean called it right. It was also a penalty. You cant jump into the ball with your hands in the air

Wilshere's tackle was pure frustration at himself after a poor touch, that's how he got sent off against Birmingham a couple of seasons back. He seems to just get so p!ssed off when he takes a poor touch and he just lunges in to get the ball back, he needs to stop doing that.

It was 100% a penalty, blatant pen, if it happened at the other end of the pitch and we didn't get it we would be furious.

If you are 5 foot nothing and can't reach the ball with your head, you cannot use your hands instead!

That was a stonewall pen. Only someone as deluded as Wenger in his post match interview would assume otherwise.
As for the OP, most football fans will accept defeat whe their team put in the effort. The reason why your fans are upset was the pathetic display from your players
